Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 21, 2009 Bottle 35,5 cl. Hazy yellow with a dense white head. Aroma of oranges. Medium body, sweet orange flavours and a little sulphur. The finish is dry. 060709 DeadGuyPerez (29), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2009 Bottle. Nice aroma and a not unpleasant citrusy flavour. Not a really serious beer taste, and the orange gets away from itself a bit. Blue Moon is a better call IMO. phaleslu (427), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 13, 2009 Draft at the brewery in St. Louis. I can’t believe it took so long for A-B’s answer to Blue Moon. Cloudy orange pour, quick head. Aroma of orange, and same flavor- but something isn’t quite right. Gets worse as you get through it. Weak finish- dry, grainy, and leftover orange flavorings. chicagodri (1020), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2009 The wife ordered this for me since I had never had it before. Mild wheat with a the citrus flavor. I think Blue Moon is slightly better, but they are both very similar. canary dog (441), Rutland, Vermont, USA Jul 9, 2009 As far as appearance and mouthfeel are concerned, this Belgian white has the basics down. However, very harsh citrusy carbonation bite and overall sweetish character render this beer relatively mediocre. Finishes rather poor. Ungstrup (14757), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 7, 2009 Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is hoppy, lending it citrus notes on a lightly malty and caramel finish. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus, and some spices, leading to a dry wheaty finish. JonnyC22 (162), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Jul 6, 2009 Like a previous poster said, this is a mild, orangey wheat that compares favorably with Blue Moon. Not bad for an A-B effort. BanjoDude (28), Kingsport, Tennessee, USA Jul 2, 2009 Not too bad...better than Blue Moon. A little too citrusy for my tastes in a witbier, but for Michelob it isn’t too bad. Pours a hazy orange with an almost non-existent head with O.K. retention. If you like Blue Moon, then you will probably like this beer too.
