ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 20, 2009 Appearance: Lightly hazed, pale yellow body with a tall, somewhat lasting, white head.
Smell: Rather scant hints at pale malts and malted wheat before some slightly bolder, but still very, very mild notes of clove and orange peel.
Taste: Pale malts swing towards a slightly tangy malted wheat with a mild, subtle sweetness. Light touches of clove and an underhanded, suspiciously light dose of stale orange juice. The tiniest amount of hop bitterness. Drying, vaguely juice-esque finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium, though airy carbonation.
Drinkability: Not recommended. An all-out assault on Coors Blue Moon that utterly fails, in my opinion. It’s just a far too thin and lacking in all its qualities, making for a rather unrewarding wit. Beardface (977), Eugene, Oregon, USA Jun 18, 2009 Piss yellow beer which tastes like liquid bread with a tiny amount of citrus flavor. Foul little brew, this. fata2683 (836), Panama City, Florida, USA Jun 16, 2009 bottle, pours hazy yellow, thin white head. Strong wheat and corriander nose. Wheat body, some corriander spice and some sweet orange in the finish. An average white ale. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2009 Kind of nasty the way such a cold glass feels like warm cotton balls going down your throat. This is hard to stomach- I didn’t notice any citrus- all I could taste was yeast. Ew. Tap at Hurricane Wings in Miami. nulty (11), USA Jun 12, 2009 Bottled - Aroma is very citrusy. Goes down alright, but has a metallic after taste to it. I wasn’t impressed by this beer at all. There is too much going on with the lime, lemon, and orange flavors that michelob went for with this. Stick with Blue Moon for your belgain white. 184601 (143), Mexicali, Mexico Jun 11, 2009 I think this one its alright, very well-balanced elements within the wheat and the orange and the others citrus (green lemon), spciy, somewhat acid, sweet, honey notes , Quite sticky orangy, cloudy body and tiny white head.A real thirst-quencher and somewhat potent (ha) to be 5.2%.Cool try it! hellomisterp (32), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 8, 2009 Faint orange aroma which quickly fizzles down. Has a very cloudy orange appearance and the taste compliments it. Wow, there is a a lot of orange flavor in this one. Definitely an outdoor session beer. CoreyDW (18), Arizona, USA Jun 7, 2009 Updated: Jun 15, 2009Had it bottled.
