2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The appearance is an orange colored paleness with a small head that dissipates quickly, and it has minimal lacing. The smell doesn’t have much just a bit of orange/citrus with a little bread/wheat added in. The taste is basically a light sweet orange and biscuity bready malt. The palate is crisp and light bodied with a light to medium carbonation and just a tad of alcohol. Overall, this isn’t a witbier, its an American Pale Wheat Ale which I don’t see on the rate beer website. However, to me, I won’t have this again.

Respectably fluffy, showcasing notes of wheat grain, coriander, LME, and bread yeast. Could indeed be worse.

It’s like drinking piss with a dash of orange juice. Freaking nasty. This is one of those beers that is indicative of large beer hiding as craft brew. I wouldn’t even like this if it was made by Deschutes.

Excellent wheat ale. Fresh hints of orange and coriander. Dont listen to the jag off hipsters that would rather drink their bitter swills than a refreshing brew like this.

Pint on tap in a tumbler. Pours a hazy golden orange with a light fluffy head. Citrusy aroma with plenty of orange and a bit wheat. Flavour is dominated by orange. It is quite sweet but still enjoyable

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Shock Top Belgian White 12 oz beer bottle served in a 16 oz glass. A really light citrus aroma honestly I wish it had more there to smell. It has a golden appearance. It has a bitter sweet citrus taste and a citrus aftertaste. It has a very light body with a thin texture and fairly carbonated. Not a bad beer but not really a fan. It’s an ok beer if you are into citrus flavored beers.

1.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pint can. Pours murky light orange. Thick off white head quickly dissipates. Hard to read anything in the smell; I barely smell beer at all. Taste is pleasant, but nondescript and more carbonated than I’d like. Better in the bottle.

Tap at The Cadillac Lounge. Served with unrequested orange slice. Aroma citrus and wheat. Thin head, hazy golden in the glass. Taste characteristic of style but thin. Better choices, some from local microbreweries, available.
