First off, my experience with this beer is that Shock Top on draft is an entirely different phenomenon than when taken from a bottle. In both cases appearance is usually good with a foamy head and wheat cloudiness, but the flavor and texture comes out much better on draft. The bottled version is usually rather flat and bland. On draft, fairly creamy and very orangey- the taste is rather uncomplicated and heavy on citrus. That being said, if you want a straitforward citrus taste, this beer is for you. Orange smell, orange color, orange taste, orange beer. Good for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle: Hazed, golden-yellow with a thin, foamy white head. Slightly bready, orange aroma. Taste is watery orange malt, grainy.....sort of orange soda-ish....pretty dull. Gets a little peppery after a while, but not enough to give it any real zest..... Weak.

Pretty sub par. Drinkable in a pinch but pretty flavorless for the most part. Free beer, no complaints.

Drank on tap (16 oz) at the Centre d’Excellence Sports Rousseau arena (that is a long name) in Boisbriand (Quebec) on Octobre 18, 2015. White gold, small head. Spicy orange beverage aroma, a bit of wheat notes. Malty orange punch taste, very light spiciness, not bad fruity finish. Not bad, even some micro witbier are worse then that!

Bottle in Vegas. Pretty terrible, definitely a step down from Blue Moon for the faux-craft free bar options in the casino.

Bottle - Floral aromatics and sweet herbal notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet generic notes, touch of pale malt. Very bland.

0.5 tap. Slightly hazy, gold color and a small, white head. Delicate aroma of citruses and pretty much nothing else. Taste is also kinda fruity, simplistic. Light body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is more grainy than tje rest. Overall a mediocre beer.

Like many of the poorer versions of the style, this tastes like a giant packet of ground coriander has been poured in during the brewing process. It’s the dominant taste, and also contributes to the mouthfeel which is otherwise pretty watery. Reasonably high carb. Straw coloured, decent white head. I think I’ve concluded that only the really good wit beers stand out - the rest are very average.
