3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
First off, my experience with this beer is that Shock Top on draft is an entirely different phenomenon than when taken from a bottle. In both cases appearance is usually good with a foamy head and wheat cloudiness, but the flavor and texture comes out much better on draft. The bottled version is usually rather flat and bland. On draft, fairly creamy and very orangey- the taste is rather uncomplicated and heavy on citrus. That being said, if you want a straitforward citrus taste, this beer is for you. Orange smell, orange color, orange taste, orange beer. Good for what it is.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap @ Montana's Belleville. Pours a hazy light straw with a small but thick and creamy white head. Aromas include a little lemon zest but not much more. Tastes include a touch of zesty lemon but is surprisingly dominated by grainy malts. Light body, assertive carbonation and a short grainy finish. Definitely lives up to being a mass-produced generic that does little to adhere to the style.

Had 2 pints, one with an orange slice and one without. I preferred it without. Pours cloudy orange with a short lived white head. Citrus and hops aroma. Tastes of peach, hops and citrus. Good beer.

Smells good, tastes like shit, might as well be labeled ’PissWaser’
Adertisments essentially communicate: If you are a cheap asshole, this is the beer for you.

Hazy orangish blonde with a medium white head that falls quickly. Citrusy and wheaty, but not that great.

2/10/16 Washington DC ($5 12 oz draft pour into beer mug at Harry’s Pub w/ Orange slice). Cloudy blonde pour, medium white head, minimal lacing. Orange aroma and flavor, some carbonation, light and easy going down. OK offering though somewhat bland.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Citrus flavor is in the beer. No need to garnish with an orange slice. A good session beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
I mean... Not terrible. Color is off being a sort of pumpkin color. Also no head. Flavor is quite lacking with a celery note that is not working. Body is heavy. Overpowering orange aroma.
To style not that great. As a beer... Mediocre but doable if it’s free at the hotel.

Tap at proper west. Pours hazy yellow, white head. Aroma is wheat, lemon, clove. Flavor is wheat, clove. Super drinkable. I mean wow. Not bad at all. It’s shock top. You know what it is. It’s light and easy drinking.
