First off, my experience with this beer is that Shock Top on draft is an entirely different phenomenon than when taken from a bottle. In both cases appearance is usually good with a foamy head and wheat cloudiness, but the flavor and texture comes out much better on draft. The bottled version is usually rather flat and bland. On draft, fairly creamy and very orangey- the taste is rather uncomplicated and heavy on citrus. That being said, if you want a straitforward citrus taste, this beer is for you. Orange smell, orange color, orange taste, orange beer. Good for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

I just donít like the witbier style. This one didnít have as yeasty a taste as the German ones I had so I didnít find it offensive.

AROMA: Light citrusy notes with some underlying bread notes, very refreshing and pleasant nose on this beer. APPEARANCE: Lovely golden orange colour with a hazy liquid. The head itself is white and to be honest quite minimal. I was drinking a pint of the stuff and the head left a lot to be desired. TASTE: The taste and the aroma very much go hand in hand with this beer. The citrusy notes are enforced by a nice sweet to bitter ratio that makes this beer super smooth and a joy to drink. I also recommend adding a bit of salt to this beer. PALATE: Light body with a slick, thin texture that goes down super easy. This is the perfect beer for a hot summerís day. Add onto that the fact that there is little to no carbonation and youíve got a beer thatís incredibly easy to drink. A mild bitter finish is also present. OVERALL: A great introduction to wheat beers, and as far as cheap beers go, really damn good. If you see this on tap at your local pub, order up a pint and enjoy!

Drinkable, better with a a lemon peel. Citrus and light for a wheat beer. . Excellent head when poured especially for a cheap beer. Doesínt compare to a good German Weiss beer, but will suffice when power drinking during summer days. Would take over bud or coors any day of the week.

Bottle from Hollywood liquor. Tiny white lace. Clear pale yellow color. Mild malty and yeasty aroma. Malty taste without any wheat carracter people yeast carracter. Tiny bitterness and body. Both the 1:st and the last time I drink this beer.

Tap at Whistlerís on Broadview Ave in Toronto. Barely translucent murky orange with thin off-white head. Dirty dishrag aroma, damn, I better not breathe when taking a sip... Later on after some aggressive swirling it appears as somewhat orangey and peachy but overall the aroma remains weak and rather horrible. Watery and crisp - I hate that. Tastes like carbonated water with grains and a bit of light orange juice mixed in. And I had been running around town the whole day... Couldnít finish even 1/3 of the glass... Awful brew. A fuck in the ears of Belgian beer culture. Congrats, AB InBev.

Draft. Pours a hazy copper medium tan head. Aroma of cloves and ginger, and citrus. Taste is medium-high sweet. Came off similar to a Blue Moon. Not bad overall, better than other Bud products.

Pint from Olive Garden. Pours very cloudy orange, with an off white head. Aroma is little present yeast, citrus and hops. Yeast dominates the flavor. Not especially interesting.

I like lighter beers. This one is my preferred beer when Iím dining. Itís not heavy, and the taste doesnít limit the number of them you can drink. Itís not a 5 star beer, but it suffices if youíre into lighter beers that wonít embarrass you.
