3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
First off, my experience with this beer is that Shock Top on draft is an entirely different phenomenon than when taken from a bottle. In both cases appearance is usually good with a foamy head and wheat cloudiness, but the flavor and texture comes out much better on draft. The bottled version is usually rather flat and bland. On draft, fairly creamy and very orangey- the taste is rather uncomplicated and heavy on citrus. That being said, if you want a straitforward citrus taste, this beer is for you. Orange smell, orange color, orange taste, orange beer. Good for what it is.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy light gold with not much head. Not much aroma, a little bit of lemon. Not much flavor either, starts sweet and citrus and just ends. The end is not like a white but like a lager. Overall, its okay with no off flavors but not much flavor at all.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Portland Pie.
Hazy orange amber color with a smallish off white head. Spicy earthy with hints of orange peel. Drinkable I guess, but not something I would reach for often.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Spicy, wheaty, with a nice balance of citrus/orange flavor. Shock Top is an unfiltered Bavarian Wheat, so it has a cloudy apperance. Has a light orange/medium yellowish color. Pretty thin with not too much head. Good for a nice hot day at the beach. For the price, I keep buying it when I want something lighter, so it must be OK for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden colour. Off-white minimal head with some lacing. Aroma is floral and citrusy. Taste is slightly bitter and the finish doesn’t really linger. Decent beer.

Tastes like watered down garbage water, I can see why it was being given out for free because I would never drink this

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Couldn’t get past the dirty sock aroma and the bandied flavor. Nothing Belgian appealing at all. Doesn’t even have any hefe character. Just mold and sweat.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
A little scent. The taste is of orange and citrus. Weak bitterness in the aftertaste that fills the upper part of the mouth to a weak moment. Even the taste of chlorine. But it may be that the glass came out of the dishwasher when I got the beer. Useless beer! Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
