muzzlehatch (4424) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - FEB 29, 2008
12 ounce bottle from City Market in Burlington, VT (February 2008), served at cellar temperature from a Duvel glass. The thick pure-white head fills half of the part of the glass not taken up by the opaque golden liquid; it doesn’t lace at all and decays quickly....pale/pils malts evident in the nose, hint of spicing, not unpleasant but nothing to get excited about either.....on the tongue, reasonably close to what it’s mimicing, with a decent blend of sweet-tart orange and sourdough characteristics, a bit of coriander, perhaps a touch of ginger....too sweet, a bit too strongly carbonated and too thin and watery, but really quite drinkable and not in the least offensive; might be A-B’s best beer now, certainly the first one I can remember thinking that I actually wouldn’t mind drinking again. For free, anyway.

Bottle from publix supermarket orlando. Pours orange with no head. Thought it had a bread orange yeast aroma but on second sniff it disappears. Flavour is yeast sweet but body is too light for style. Not great.

Smells like Sprite or 7Up...I can’t remember which is which. Taste is less sweet than expected. Inoffensive but not much going on. Better than expected.

"following the likes of Blue Moon as an overly produced Wit for the masses. The coriander, orange, and spicy yeastiness are all there, just nothing special. However...not as bad as i thought it was going to be :)"

Eh, decent Belgian white. Just not my thing though unless im in the mood for it. The balance was good and the orange flavor wasn’t too overbearing.

Pours a hazy golden hued yellow with a 1 finger head that doesn’t stick around too long. Smells more metallic and cardboardy with light hints of wheat and maybe some citrus. Taste is rather bland with some light sweetness and leaves a slick oily mouthfeel. Pretty garbage stuff to be honest, can’t really call it a true Belgian white either... disgrace.

Gift from neighbors. Pours hazy orange with a diminishing beige head, fine lacing. Aromas of orange, biscuit, some mild hay. Light body, smooth, crisp. Medium-light sweet, some citrus, mild bitter finish. Easy drinking, like soda pop.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy golden amber, light tan head cover, no lace. Taste is Belgian White Lite - watery wheat and malt becomes a little spicy and a lot fizzy through a short finish. Not really anything to recommended this. Weak.
