Sample at Kurtkeller 001: Pumpkin-tastic 01 on 11/22/2013. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of chocolate, malt and vanilla. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet cocoa, vanilla and malt. The finish is sweet with a pure milk chocolate aftertaste. Decent, although I don’t know what exactly qualifies it as "Belgian" unless it refers to the chocolate.

Poured from 12oz bottle into tulip. Very thin frothy head. Aroma is sweet, resembles hot cocoa powder. Color is dark, almost black. Taste is sweet and smooth. Notes of cocoa and vanilla. Palate is light bodied with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Smooth finish. Overall drinkable beer but plenty of far better option are available.

Incredibly fake tasting, and unbelievably cloying. Thick syrupy mouth feel and super soft carb. No bitterness, nasty fake cocoa finish. Gross.

Can. Black body with a light brow colored head. A light nose of cheap milk chocolate and almonds. This tasted very sweet with brown pancake syrup and milk chocolate candy. There was also some nutty note, but the sweetness is dominant. Just absolutely cloying. Yuck.

Aroma is cocoa, vanilla, caramel, chocolate and light roastiness. Taste is chocolate, vanilla, caramel and sweet grains. Finishes slightly watered down. Appearance is black with a thin beige head that retains poorly.

It really tastes like chocolate wheat but I'm not a big fan of these types I would say that it is recommended for people who love this palate

12oz into a pint. Pours an direct match of a coca cola, minus the extra bubbles. Head is adequate at first, then fizzles to nothing fast, no lacing. Aroma of dry bakers chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, thin hop structure. Taste of light chocolate and a vanilla mixture, some faint almond. Creamy dark malt character. Yet, brew remains flat the whole time, a lot like a flat soda. Cocoa aftertaste, soft on the pallate. Not horrible, a dark sessionable underling. Too bad its a macro, or step child of. Price is right.

Thanks to Peter for this. Pours black with a small off white top. Aroma is mocha with big chocolate sweetness. Taste is light mocha and vanilla with sweet chocolate and light roast. Not bad but very one dimensional.

Very nice and quite drinkable. With chocolate tastes and also wheat. Nice aroma and thickness although not too much.

Bottle. Dark with tan head. Smells of watery chocolate. Taste features a decent amount of chocolate, some toasted malt, and a hint of spice. Very light and quaffable. Honestly better than I was expecting but nothing outstanding.
