12 oz bottle from Target. Nose is like a white chocolate cocoa mixed with Hersheys syrup. Clear dark brown with a medium beige head. Flavor is a sweet malty base beer with Hershey syrup mixed in, a beer version of chocolate milk. Tasty and drinkable if I was still 5 years old. Probably would sell well in France and the kids could drink it at meals instead of wine.

12 oz single bottle from Biggie Wine & Liquor. Almost black appearance with a light tan head and minimal lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla, artificial sweeteners, sweet malts, spices, light caramel/toffee and bread. Similar flavor, heavily sweet and mildly spiced with plenty of chocolate and vanilla coming though. Light body with a thin, creamy feel and soft carbonation. Finishes smooth and sweet, just too sweet for me.

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Black unfiltered appearance with a small tan head, slowly dissipating. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, bready malts and very light spices. Similar flavor, rich with milk chocolate, medium plus sweetness and minimal bitterness. Light to medium body, creamy mouth feel and soft carbonation. Not too bad!

Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and vanilla. Taste of chocolate syrup with a little vanilla thin mouth feel. Overall just a middle-of-the-road ale with chocolate flavor added.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body under a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is pretty huge on the sweet milk chocolate and not a whole lot else. The flavor tastes like drinking Hershey’s chocolate syrup mixed into a wheat beer, which I suppose is what they were going for. The finish is overly sweet and slightly chemical tasting. Lighter bodied with a slight cling on the back end and soft fizzy carbonation. A little too artificial tasting for me. This gets pretty tedious before the end of even a 12 oz bottle.
Earlier Rating: 2/18/2014 Total Score: 3.4
Bottle. Pours clear dark brown body with a one finger fizzy light brown head that faded quickly. The nose is pretty nice, lots of chocolate and vanilla with just a light hint of wheat. The flavor is much more dominant on the chocolate and vanilla than can possibly be natural. It still tastes pretty good, in a candy bar kind of way. There’s really not much in the flavor that can be attributed to the base wheat beer. Light bodied with a soft fizzy carbonation level. Lingering vanilla bean finish. Interesting beer, pretty decent, though not at all natural tasting.

6 pack 12oz bottles from Walmart in Redding, CA. Pour’s a deep rich brown with a thick tan head that dissipates quickly, no cap, no lacing. nice aroma of chocolate, vanilla very low to no hop aroma. front of the mouth is massive chocolate, dark fruit’s, rum soaked raisins, middle of the mouth, more chocolate, roasted coffee, vanilla. finish is a bit bitter and dry. has an alcohol burn despite low ABV

Dark brown body with thick brownish head. Aromas of wheat malt, chocolate, some coffee, vanilla and hints of some metallic aroma. Taste is very lightly bitter and somewhat sweet, somewhat artificial. More like a chocolate drink than a beer.

Bottle: Pours dark brown with a thick, tight, tan head. Wheat, chocolate aroma. Taste is sweet....cocoa powder, vanilla, wheat malt, oats..... Creamy...not bad, if you are in the mood for a chocolate fix. Like Nestle Quik with a head.
Earlier Rating: 12/1/2013 Total Score: 3.1
Bottle: Pours nearly black with a short, dark tan head. Roasty, chocolate aroma....vanilla. Taste is strong chocolate powder, malt, vanilla. Wheatiness is in there, if you really look for it. Tingly carbonation. VERY chocolaty....honestly, not too bad for what it is.

Bottle. Pours dark brown. Large tan head. Sweet cocoa aroma Watery sweet chocolate flavor. Mouth feel is more like cocoa then beer. To me this was kind of like drinking a cold cup of instant cocoa. Not terrible to drink, but not a good beer.
Earlier Rating: 5/2/2014 Total Score: 2.8
Bottle. Pours a near black. Lots of particles floating about. Short lived brown head that fades to nothing. Mild coco aroma that improves as it warms. Taste is coco. Palate is pretty thin. Actually this isn’t that bad. There isn’t anything about it that makes me want to dump it.
