Pours unclear pale copper with whiteish head. The aroma is light of spice, light sweet musty wheat. The flavor is soft dark wheat, a touch bland but not bad. The chocolate malt is barely there but the chili spice shows after a while. An alright brew, I donít regret trying it but it gets tough to finish.

Draft. Pours a somewhat hazy pale orange color with a small amount of head that lingered. Aroma is sweet bread, chili pepper, and spices. Taste is like drinking spicy corn syrup, really odd. Itís not terrible but itís also not good. Too sweet and the flavors donít mesh well. I wonít be drinking this again.

Bottle. Pours murky brown with off-white head. Aroma of somewhat tart wheat. Flavor of tart wheat, some citrus notes, very, very subtle hints if chocolate, well balanced. Light mouthfeel with high carbonation. Overall, I dont taste the chili they speak of...wait a sec...ok, there it is....

Brownish-red pour with a white head. The aroma has wheat with mild hop spice. It has a medium body with somewhat creamy texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a smooth finish.

12 oz. Hazy dirty brown with a lasting disc of foam. Faint nose of caramel and cardboard. Flavor is cola, peppery cardboard and caramel. Near-medium body is balanced and has medium-high carbonation. Inoffensive, bland, and drinkable if you really must.

Bottle at Jamesí place for a tasting. Pours a lightly hazed amber brown with a thin white head. Soft spices and a touch of yeast on the nose. Medium bodied, burnt spices, a touch of warming alcohol. Spicy on the finish, a bit of burnt spices and an earthy bitterness.

This is one of the better Shock Top beers, a pleasant surprise, and one that I would even drink again. Dark cloudy copper color, foamy head, though somewhat brief, minimal lacing. Nose hints at chocolate and chilis with a hint of the citrus zest typical of wheat beers. Flavor similar, with chili just giving a hint of smoke and tingle, no real heat, but its there. Whatever other spice is present is indistinct. Overall profile is semi-sweet, balanced, medium feel.

From a bottle poured a brown color with a fair amount of head. Sweet malty flavor with a quick finish.
