Pours an opaque medium brown with an off white long lasting head with little lacing. The aroma is faint chocolate. The palate is light as it is with Shock Top beers. The chocolate malt dominates with a slight spice and a back of the throat chili hit after a few sips. I’ve had a chili beer that by the end of a bottle, my mouth was on fire. Not here thankfully

I didn’t get too much of a wheat flavor. A light beer with just a touch of darker malts. Pretty straight-forward.

From the description on the bottle I was lead to believe that this was going to be a brew full of flavor. I was fooled. There are the slightest hints of dark malt, chilis, and some muted spices but nothing remotely strong. All flavors are dull and muddy. The beer does not have a bad flavor, just nothing that you could call good. Pass.

Disappointing. Tastes as if a bunch of otherwise outstanding Shock Top brews were poured together into a vat and mixed up into a zombie. Muddled, with a weak and watery taste, though with a somewhat pleasant, stout-like flavor up-front. Clean & watery finish, with coppery aftertaste. I would prefer to drink something else at the end of the world.

The aroma is chocolate, caramel, lightly spicy. The appearance is hazy dark amber, off-white head, some floaties (maybe too old?). The flavor is chcolate, spicy, cereal grains, caramel. The finish is spicy, peppery, sweet, chocolate, pine needles. Medium in body, a tad on the thick side. Realy not bad at all, better than expected.

Not bad for a Busch beer; can detect cocoa, pleasant party beer. Better than Bud or Miller... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle. Pours a muddy, opaque brown-gold brew (Lovibond 20). Slight head and lace. Aroma is of a porter or stout! Hints of chocolate and malt. Actually, exactly like Count Chocula cereal. Taste is well balanced between being a wheat beer and pushing the porter envelope - has a wheat beer mouthfeel and watery palate, while offering slight notes of chocolate, hops and spice. A little on the flat side, but by far their best wheat beer offering.

Bottle - Pour was a dark amber with almost no head. Aroma is a strong alcohol smell with lots of malt. Palate is pretty smooth. Malty with an alcohol on the back end. Not sure if I taste any chili or spices. Overall this might be the nicest Shock Top selection! -optemoz

12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Lager glass at 36°. Color is a deep hazy amber with mellow carbonation and a small tight off white head. Aroma of toffee with a light spice. It has lighter medium body and a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is light with some roasted wheat and spice, then a hint of oak on the back. After is a mild bitterness. Overall its a nice easy drinking brew.

How could I pass up a $2.99 sixer? Pours a dark brownish amber with a decent thick head and lacing, actually doesn’t look all that bad, aroma has a little bit of spice with a tad bit of chocolate, seems pretty artificial so far, the flavor is pretty weird, kind of fruity on the front end with a slight finish of chocolate and malt, won’t be picking this up again, will maybe if it gets down to .99$ a sixer.
