Not much to aroma or palate, taste was ok, I enjoyed the humor in the name and the taste. A quick burst of chili pepper flavor, then very abruptly, there is Nothing! End of the World, very funny. Still low.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
typical micro tasting from a large macro brewing. Bland, dull, not balanced or complex. Decent, not a drain pour.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a nice one inch beige head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, coffee, wheat, citrus, chocolate, chili and some warming spices. Similar, clean aroma. Has a decent, lighter body with a slight bitter finish. Easy to drink and enjoyable. Kind of neat to see them expand the brand out like this.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Orange, cinnamon, and wheat malt aroma. Hazy orange-brown with small head. Sweet orange caramel malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor. Okay - probably the best of the Shock Tops.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
From a twist off bottle. A little perfumy on the nose. Wew, strongish initial taste bud impact, but never goes over the top. Fades quickly to a rapidly apparent dullness of wheat. Yes, different but still al little on the BMC processed side.

Fun beer for any end of the world party. Not good for any other time. Just kind of average.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The smell of this beer is quite unremarkable but has definite dough yeast and bready malt. In a glass, this beer looks quite mahogany until you put it up to the light, which is when the complex and beautiful amber brown can be seen. Also, it has a fairly frothy white head. When you drink the beer, the taste doesn’t hit you immediately; rather, it unravels as it flows down your throat, but it does taste like a standard wheat beer with a little extra spice (although it is not too remarkable and memorable). The way it coats your mouth with a nice lively carbonation and a slick, thin texture is quite nice, and it finishes quite abruptly.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to S8N for this one. From their "Seasonal Collection" series. Pours a hazy caramel-copper colour with a big frothy off-white head, good retention and dirty lace. Aromas of malt found in Irish red ales, with notes of chocolate, alcohol and very light spices. The taste is pretty different, but good. The chili being more apparent, with the chocolate malt and other spices, like cinnamon. Bread notes lingers. Again, nothing too crazy, but way better than most AB products.
