Accidentally blew my notes away for this one on my phone but I remember being more impressed than the general masses with this one. Aroma had wheat, chocolate and spice and some caramel. Taste was sweet and spicy with wheat, dark malts, chocolate, spices and a mild spicy finish.

12 oz single from Roth’s Sunnyslope store in S.Salem. $1.33 Nice enough looking dark amber ale with a light tan head. Smell is pleasant also milk chocolate, bread and pepper. Taste smooth, milk chocolate, wheat and some peppery heat in the back, not that bad! Nice palate..keeps the thing together well. An alright beer.

Bottle. Hazy copper with an off white head. Wheaty and sweet malty base, light chocolate, spices, and believe it or not, a little bit of chili pepper heat in the finish. Pretty good.

Bottle at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a lightly hazed amber brown with a thin white head. Soft spices and a touch of yeast on the nose. Medium bodied, burnt spices, a touch of warming alcohol. Spicy on the finish, a bit of burnt spices and an earthy bitterness.

Brownish-red pour with a white head. The aroma has wheat with mild hop spice. It has a medium body with somewhat creamy texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a smooth finish.

Bon mélange d’épices, de caramel et chocolat dans un corps étonnement charpenté, velouté presque. Fini assez sucré, buvabilité honnête.

Bottle: Poured a murky toilet bowl mixture brown with hints of orange/yellow, head is fluffy off white. Aroma is sticky and sweet malts on the nose. Taste is an interesting mix of sweet malts/chocolate, some warming spices, and just a fine hint of bittering wheat.

Thanks to S8N for this one. From their "Seasonal Collection" series. Pours a hazy caramel-copper colour with a big frothy off-white head, good retention and dirty lace. Aromas of malt found in Irish red ales, with notes of chocolate, alcohol and very light spices. The taste is pretty different, but good. The chili being more apparent, with the chocolate malt and other spices, like cinnamon. Bread notes lingers. Again, nothing too crazy, but way better than most AB products.

Deep reddish brown. Frothy head reducing to soapy. Aroma of wheat and light spices. Didnt get any chocolate really. Not the most flavorful beer. Light to medium body. Props for the concept.

bottle. smells decent and the aftertaste is one of light chocolate and slight malt. Very good and surprisingly tasty compared to the regular shock top. Would drink again
