3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to S8N for this one. From their "Seasonal Collection" series. Pours a hazy caramel-copper colour with a big frothy off-white head, good retention and dirty lace. Aromas of malt found in Irish red ales, with notes of chocolate, alcohol and very light spices. The taste is pretty different, but good. The chili being more apparent, with the chocolate malt and other spices, like cinnamon. Bread notes lingers. Again, nothing too crazy, but way better than most AB products.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep reddish brown. Frothy head reducing to soapy. Aroma of wheat and light spices. Didnt get any chocolate really. Not the most flavorful beer. Light to medium body. Props for the concept.

bottle. smells decent and the aftertaste is one of light chocolate and slight malt. Very good and surprisingly tasty compared to the regular shock top. Would drink again

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a muddy, opaque brown-gold brew (Lovibond 20). Slight head and lace. Aroma is of a porter or stout! Hints of chocolate and malt. Actually, exactly like Count Chocula cereal. Taste is well balanced between being a wheat beer and pushing the porter envelope - has a wheat beer mouthfeel and watery palate, while offering slight notes of chocolate, hops and spice. A little on the flat side, but by far their best wheat beer offering.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an opaque medium brown with an off white long lasting head with little lacing. The aroma is faint chocolate. The palate is light as it is with Shock Top beers. The chocolate malt dominates with a slight spice and a back of the throat chili hit after a few sips. I’ve had a chili beer that by the end of a bottle, my mouth was on fire. Not here thankfully

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy orange/amber with a pale tan head that is quite full. Aroma is roasted wheat and spice. Taste is dark buttery caramel, sweet malt, biscuits and a hop bitterness that is assertive but doesn’t dominate. Pretty decent effort.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy murky brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is chocolatey, roasty and grainy wheat. Flavor is still a bit on the light side. More flavor than I expected but I didn’t expect much.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Nose is faintly chocolately and spicy. Pours a rather unattractive murky brown, like tea left too long to steep. Definite chili and chocolate on the tongue, with a faint sweetness and a smokiness akin to anchos. Finishes sweet and dark. Tastes a heck of a lot better than it looks.

Bottle from Valley Farm. Hazy brownish in color. Sweet nose with a little hint of spice. Crisp wheat with a touch of spiciness. Pretty good body. Finish has just the slightest hint of peppers.
