Not bad, better than the other shock tops I’ve had.

Bottle. Caramel and Granny Smith apple aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet candied apple flavor with a light bitter finish. Better than most other Shock Top "beers" but still reminiscent of apple Kool-Aid or Slice Apple soda (for those who remember the apple drink craze in the early 80s).

Cloudy pale yellow color with small white head. Fragrant apple aroma. Not terrible as the wheat beer base comes through. The apple flavor is is sweet but not over-the-top. Apple is rather tart and a sweet aftertaste. It’s ok for what it is but couldn’t drink more than one.

It definitely tastes like artificial apple flavor. Not much in terms of a wheat beer.

Dahlia’s rbwg! Hazy milky straw color white head. Aroma of sour apple candy not real apples. Still smells good though. Taste of tart sour apple, artificial. Tasty and very drinkable but more a beer cocktail than a beer.

Bottle. Pours a decent cheddar orange with a nose of apple-infused Sprite, light seltzered honey, and a touch of mango. Flavor is carbonated apple, light mango, a smidgen of papaya, and a finish of honey. Lively on the tongue. Dang the haters. This ain’t bad.

The aroma of this beer is so heavenly that words can hardly describe it. The taste falls a little short of the smell but still very good.

Fresh, sweet apple aroma - somehow reminds me of childhood. The usual overwrought Shock Top label, but with little apples. Foggy gold. Twistoff bottle. Crisp, apple peel/core flavor, acidic and with zippy carbo. Sweet enouh without getting clingy. Tangy aftertaste. More appealing (get it) than most ciders. ABC, Betton.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, white head, over a hazy, dark yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is heavy apple, light banana bubblegum.....taste is heavy apple, lighter banana/bubblegum, hints of vanilla, medium sweet throughout, light apple sour on the finish...mouth feel light of medium, carbonation high with extensive tingle on the tongue. The apple adjuncts were used with a relatively heavy hand, and as a result dominate completely. There are some interesting aromas and flavors that might have come forward to make this a better and more interesting beer. BJCP 7/3/10/4/5
