12 oz bottle says 5.2%. Poured into a Samuel Smith pint glass. A: Pours a hazy golden color. The head is a quick-fading two finger white shade. Not the most aesthetically pleasing brew. S: Is this beer, or is it cider? There are strong apple tones throughout, along with a bit of tartness and some diacetyl. Jolly Ranchers come instantly to mind here. The minor beer qualities here aren’t too hot. T: This may well be cider, with its big sweetness and apple flavors, but there’s also some finishing diacetyl that I could do without. The malty finish tries to balance some of the cider sweetness...only it turns it into beery sweetness that’s a bit more unpleasant. None of the advertised spices come through well. M: Thick and sweet, as expected. Lots of carbonation, too. The problem here is that it’s so damn sweet that it kills drinkability - and it can’t get away with it the way a pure commercial cider like Angry Orchard can. O: I totally get this point of this product, combining a sweet apple cider with a generic witbier - the problem is it tries to be everything to everyone, and as a result, doesn’t do either the cider or the beer aspect well enough to appeal to discerning craft beer/cider drinkers (plus the whole "it’s made by AB-InBev" thing). Not bad for a malternative, though.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/7/2016. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tart green apples, lemon, orange peel, pear, coriander, clove, light pepper, wheat, cracker, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, apple/spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tart green apples, lemon, orange peel, pear, coriander, clove, light pepper, wheat, cracker, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light fruit tartness and herbal/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart green apples, lemon, orange peel, pear, coriander, clove, light pepper, wheat, cracker, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, apple/spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from tart/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a good fruited witbier style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, apple/spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

De geur is net als een fruitsap, zeer zoet en lekker. Een mooie schuimkraag, de kleur mooi blond. De smaak is zoals een goed appelbier zoals newton.

Bottle, sampled at Medicine Hat Beerfest 2016. Fizzy pale gold, apple candy aroma and flavour, sweet and soda-like. I don’t like soda to begin with, let alone as a beer.

Cripsy, yes. Apple, yes. Artificial, yes. Sure does attract these pecker gnats with its false hope aroma.

Dang error, erased everything I wrote

Pours an apple cider color. Sligjtly cloudy, hazy, unfiltered. One finger off white head. No retention, no lacing.

Aroma is apple, very apple. Sweet, very sweet. Are little wheaty. Smells like cider.

Taste is apple, somewhat tart. Wheat and apples. It’s also quite metallic. Metallic flavor is perhaps dominating the flavor.

Mouthfeel is medium light. Metallic and tart. Semi dry. Tart and metallic.

Overall, going from memory here. Not a particular fan. It’s okay. Too metallic in the taste. Would not buy it again, probably would not recommend it.

Cheers !

Bottle - Pours pale gold, white head. Apple cider smell... hint of lightly baked bread. Flavors of light roasted wheat, fruity..apple cider. Very light hops end.

Bottle pour at the Fairfield Budweiser plant. It pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is a dead ringer for apple jolly ranchers. The flavor is the same. Syrupy, sugary sweet candy apple. Thick on the palate with a medicinal, artificial quality to it. I’m not an Inbev hater, but this was almost undrinkable.

Pours a yellow fizzy with mild foam head. Aroma is hop and malt with strong scent of Apple and honey. Taste is like drinking a Budweiser brewed with a hard cider. Strong taste of sweet apple like a jolly rancher. I won’t drink it again. By the way this is not a craft beer even though it is advertised as craft.
