Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dirty hazy gold with a creamy/fizzy white head. Aroma is very fresh apple. I guess the Honeycrisp variety has a lot of aroma. Med minus body. The combination starts strange, and goes towards a cardboardy beer, finishing fairly sweet with some "crisp" apple notes. Lingering flavor is tart/sweet apple. Probably would seem better on a dry hot day.

Bottle. Poured hazy amber hue with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet apple spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth sweet spice flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of jolly rancher apple candy and light wheat. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, apple jolly ranchers and light yeast with a crisp finish.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburís Fort Collins. Pours a fairly cloudy yellow-orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma is incredibly potent and reeks of apple jolly ranchers, cinnamon, and tons of fruit sweetness. Flavor is kind of refreshing and I could see how sorority girls would love to get fucked up on this shit. Itís very sweet, taste of apple pulp, honey, pears, and light bread. Not sure Iíve ever had anything like this. Not my cup of tea, but I expect with some marketing, this could be a decent seller.

Well, Shock Top doesnít entirely suck and I come from cider country, so Iím not ashamed to admit Iím not 100% ashamed to try this. 12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Leesburg, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a large fizzy head that fades almost immediately. Aroma of tart apples. Some mild wheat and a faint bit of graininess but pretty one note. The taste is even less complex than the aroma, just tart apples and nothing else. Meh.

Bottle shared by Blipp at tasting. Pours cloudy gold. Nose and taste of apple skin, light malt and wheat malt. Lighter bodied.

Bottled. Poured cloudy, straw golden with a well-retained white head. The aroma picked up lots of mostly sweet apples and not a whole lot else.. some earthy notes and wheat as well.. no real complaints. The flavor found tangy and sweet apples throughout, with a pale malt and wheaty base.. some watery apple juice on the middle.. finished with a little apple tang and prickly carbonation. Light-bodied with filling carbonation on the palate.. this lost its way on the middle, but was otherwise serviceable.

Bottle. Caramel and Granny Smith apple aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet candied apple flavor with a light bitter finish. Better than most other Shock Top "beers" but still reminiscent of apple Kool-Aid or Slice Apple soda (for those who remember the apple drink craze in the early 80s).

Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Apple and light spice aroma. Apple cider and spice flavor. Medium bodied. Apple cider and spice linger.

Bottle at Jamesís 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Smells like hard apple candies. Tangy apple over a big amount of grain. Dirty grain. Tart on the finish, with a bit of sweetness. Not terrible.
