2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Overwhelming nose of Jolly Rancher green apple. Pours a hazy gold with a high, fine-grained, and persistent head. Nowhere near as sweet as I expected from the nose, but there’s still a definite green apple candy note, overlaying a pretty standard wheat beer palette. Finish is long and tart. It’s all right.

Very nice aroma. Small white head dissipates quickly though. Tart crisp apple taste, followed by alcohol. Overall not too shabby. But it was a bit watery.

Highly drinkable, great apple taste. I don’t care who made the beer, it’s good, it’s refreshing and there’s no noticeable flaws with the beer. It’s probably one of the best apple beers available, and gives Shipyard a run for it’s money.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Food Lion. Pours hazy orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is big honeycrisp apple juice, ciderish. The taste is basically just a sweeter apple cider. Not bad but not crisp enough for me to enjoy.

Cider mixed with a wheat beer... interesting taste. I liked it. Something that you should only drink in the summer and fall in my opinion

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours yellow with a slightly unpleasant brownish tinge, cloudy, head sucks. Nose is apple. Red Delicious apple with some tartness which I suppose is the Honeycrisp "natural flavor". It smells like unfermented raw cider. Watery palate. Flavor incredibly sweet. No Belgian overtones, but regular Shock Top doesn’t have them either so why would this? Blech.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
"Based on the aroma alone, which is an explosion of juicy apple and a little spice, this is easily the best Shock Top to date. Faint praise, perhaps, but still... The body and look are typically light and effervescent. The flavor is nice, though not as good as the aroma. Not much depth, but not bad either."

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy light amber with a 1/2" persistent white head, small waves of lace Taste is sweet crisp fresh apple with maybe a little malt thrown in that stays sticky sweet all the way through the finish. I guess it’s okay, but it seems far away from an actual beer
