Nowhere near as sweet as I expected from the nose, but there’s still a definite green apple candy note, overlaying a pretty standard wheat beer palette. Finish is long and tart. It’s all right.

Bottle at James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Smells like hard apple candies. Tangy apple over a big amount of grain. Dirty grain. Tart on the finish, with a bit of sweetness. Not terrible.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Sweet, apple, white wine aromas. Strong apple flavor with some wheat in the background. Really appley, not something I would really want to have again.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of jolly rancher apple candy and light wheat. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, apple jolly ranchers and light yeast with a crisp finish.

Pours a cloudy and hazy Apple Cider/Yellow color. Small White head that only lasts for a few seconds. Aroma is of a strong Apple scent. Little to no carbonation. Taste is of Sour Apple. A little light and watery, with a tart aftertaste. Not bad on a hot day. A good beer made by Shock Top. Would probably have given this one an even higher rating if there was some carbonation in it though, because tastes more like a wine cooler than a beer without the carbonation, but it’s still good!!

Had it on tap at Loafers in Chicago, poured a cloudy yellow color, with a medium head and no lacing. The aroma had an apple fruity smell, and the taste was very sweet. Good on a summer day!

Smells and tastes like a sour apple jolly rancher. Not bad on a hot day, but tough to have more than one or two. Tart and sweet, and full of apple flavor.

Bottle. Pale yellow pour with slight haze. Apple cider on the nose. Little weaker on the taste. Drinkable beverage but pretty gimmicky.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is very heavy on the apples with a light bit of tartness. Flavor is more of the same. I get some wheat and apple notes. There is a light bit of tartness in the flavor. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a pint glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Mott’s apple juice. Seriously--if you put Mott’s in one glass and this stuff in the other, I couldn’t smell them apart. Cool points. More interesting than the average beer.
Appearance: Translucent hazy yellow orange. No head at all.
Taste: Arrives as apple juice. Gets a little acidic, and then ends on lightly sweet wheat. Pretty refreshing, actually.
Palate: Light, crisp, and clean.
Overall: Pretty refreshing beer. Could be great on a hot day. I actually enjoyed this one! It won’t blow your mind, but it is pretty good.
