Poured a darker lemon color with a nice white foamy head and a citrusy aroma. A significant sweet taste with a nice smooth citrusy finish. reminiscent of the radler I had on trips to Munich.

I wanted to try one of the various summer lemony products and basically had this or Leinenkugel Summer Shandy to choose from. I chose this because it was $1 less than the other and comparable in ratings. My first instinct is that itís a decent hot weather quick beer to drink if the price is right and you like lemon flavor. I would much rather have a Blue Moon or a good hefewizen instead. Aroma was lemon and malt but very light. It almost smelled like lemon cleaner/ Appearance was yellow with some mild cloudiness and a very thin white head and carbonation. Taste was lemon and wheat but didnít mix perfectly. I would err on drinking this beer as ice cold as you can to dull some of the mixing issues. It goes down great cold, but as it warmed the flavors became less tantalizing. Overall, itís not a style I will keep drinking as a rule of thumb and wonít buy bulk.

Bottle. Light slightly hazy yellow pour with a white head. Smells like a wetnap. Lemon and slight spice. Not terrible.

Tasted at the 2012 Westport Brewfest. It poured a pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of malts, hops, wheat and lemon. The taste was similar.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy lemonade color. Tiny short lived white fuzzy head. Lots of carbonation. Mild arificial lemon flavor (Lemon Pledge???). Not the worst beer in the world, but not very good. How does AB call this a Belgian.

Big white head. Lots of lacing. No nose at all. Almost no taste. Slight sweet, slight citrus. Drinkable.

Wow. This is actually kinda good. Smell is of some lemon but in zest form. Looks decent. Light and a bit bubbly. It tastes a tad of soda, but for a shandy is nice. Better than Leineís for sure. Iím surprised, especially since I donít like lemons much. A good day starter.

Pours cloudy yellow with a 1 finger, bright white head. Aroma is lemon grainy wheat coriander and dishwater. Flavor is lemonade right away, bready yeast, sweetish starchy raw grain and some light, sweet bread spice. Palate is light chalky and has a light, but blanketing and somewhat sharp carbonation. The aroma is a little off putting, but this stuff actually doesnít taste all that bad.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, banana yellow appearance with a disappearing white head. Bready, lemonade, a bit spicy, wheat malty aroma. Somewhat refreshing, Radler-like, lemonade, sweet wheat, a little spicy flavor. I guess if it was a really hot day I could see myself chugging a couple of these but not otherwise. Not that worthwhile overall.
