Bottle. Ugh. How did the definition of shandy get linked with lemonade? In my European experiences, they were made with lemon soda (ie, 7Up, which in some places is called ’lemonade’, but ain’t). This drinks like I guess they intended ... mostly bad, industrial lemonade, with a splash of bad, industrial beer. (#4590, 5/7/2012)

Very lemony and slightly tangy. Interesting overall but doesn't really drink like a beer. More like a wine cooler.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours hazy yellow into the glass with a fizzy dissipating head that leaves no lace. The nose is of lemon Pledge. Flavors are of lemon candies, with a seltzer water mouthfeel. Thin and unsubstantiated, this is a bit of a letdown, not too mention cloying and over-carbonated.

Average beer with a big mouthful of lemon overwhelming the flavor. As it turns out, it goes pretty well with Chinese food.

Sample @ Pick’s Liquors. Lightly cloudy gold with minimal head. Aroma of wheat and lemon pine-sol. Taste is light sweet. They get extra points here just because the lemonade flavor seemed natural, unlike some of the other "shandy" beers I’ve had. Light bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not that bad. Not exactly my style but I’ll keep it in mind if I’m ever feeling a shandy. Would make a great lawnmower beer...if I had a lawn to mow

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle from the local gas station. pours a glowing murky yellow with copious white head that goes away quickly. Nose is lemonade with a twist of lime. Flavors adds a malty character with a little spice. Flavor is sweet and tart. Medium to light body with watery texture. Not offensive and even tasty. oh, there’s a burp.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a thin off-white fizzy head. Poor head retention. Aroma of candied lemon and floral notes. The taste is wheat, spice, lemon candy. Thin bodied. Below even what I was expecting, but not terrible.

I am a shandy drinker and truly enjoy a shandy on a summer day... I tried this as it came out... 12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Overall I feel the citrus flavor had hints of orange in it that did not do it justice, and the lemon reminded me of dish soap... The citrus did not do a great job of masking an overly wheaty kinda watered down brew... I will finish the six pack but will not purchase again in the future.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, pale yellow body with a tall, meringue-like head, though it drops down very fast.
Smell: Artificially-flavored lemonade powder, faint spice, and just enough of a hint of beery barley to remind you this is, indeed, an adult beverage.
Taste: Lightly malty with a faint store-brand honey-flavored cereal sweetness. Given a teeny tiny pinch of ground coriander, though the accumulative lemon flavoring eventually overshadows it. It’s lemony and a little bit tart, but not overly so, and, well, that’s kind of how things go until the faintly fizzly finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Shock Top dared to take Blue Moon head-on, then, they showed up what seasonal pumpkin and fruit beers can REALLY be, and, now, Shock Top is flexin’ their summertime shandy muscles. It’s a bit sad, really.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a whuter head that quickly dissipates leaving some globular lacing. Nose is slight lemon. Body is medium on the American wheat ale thin side. Palate is lemon. This a lighter version of Leinenkugel’s Lemon Shandy and quite enjoyable
