This wasnít anything special. Original Shock Top is way better. If you want a lemonade flavored drink, go with Jeremiah Weed mixed with lemonade. This crap is garbage.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy sunshine yellow with a large two inch head that slowly collapses. Taste is of lemon, wheat and some spice. Similar aroma. Reminds me of lemonade, but without the pucker. The body is nice, slightly full, but a bit watery. A good summer beer. Drinkable, a good thirst quencher and I like that it has an abv of 4.2%.

bottle. Poured hazy straw coloured with no head retainable head. Sweet candied lemon aroma. Light creamy carbonation. Sweet and malty lemonade flavoured beer. A nice refreshing drink.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2013 Tap: dingy, golden-yellow, murky and hazy with a thin, wispy white head that reduces to a ring in record time. Aroma is light lemon zest, slightly tart lemon juice, faint grainy and wheaty underbody... Thatís about it. Artificially sweet lemons. Taste is disappointing, too. Lots of grains and malts up front with sweet lemon throughout. Overdone, artificial, and just not that good. Lightly tart in the middle, but it fades to a big sweetness in the finish. Aftertaste of grains and lemon. Iíd pick Leinieís Summer Shandy over this one any day.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy yellow beer with a frothy white head, which quickly disappears. Weak lemon smell. Tastes of watery, sour lemonade. Coriander peel, lemon zest, some hints of sweet malts. Sour finish. Refreshing. but ultimately forgettable.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2012 Not bad but not great. Wheat beer with fake lemon flavor. That pretty much sums it up. Decent on a hot day. Nothing to write home about.

Hazy straw color. Smells like shock top. Maybe the soapy-est tasting beer Iíve ever had. I rarely pour one out, but this sucks. Even for shock top.

It pours a semi-clear pale yellow hue with a quickly dissipating head. The scent is mild with creamy wheat and lemon aroma. The texture is slightly creamy with cheap grains and lemon hitting the taste buds rather weakly. This is essentially Budís version to compete with Millerís distributed Leinenkugelís Summer Shandy. Itís a decent summer beerÖmaybe? I guess I would have to try both of them at the same time to give an honest opinion of which one is better but I have yet to have a shandy that tops Potosi Steamboat Shandy on draft. Overall this is average, maybe a little better but nothing that amazes me that much.

Bottle. Yellow pour with white head. Smells of wheat and lemon cleaning product. Tastes of the same. Seems like a fake lemon flavor.
