2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
I poured this into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly yellow transparency that looked like someone squeezed a lemon in it. Carbonated bubbles rose rapidly and filled a one finger white foamy head that rapidly dissipated.
The smell, well, it was definitely lemon, Iíll tell ya that. However, was it authentic? I really donít know.
The taste was bitter lemon in it, but I didnít get any spices in it. The aftertaste was bitter lemon and a super watery finish.
On the palate, it sat fairly light and showed a decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation was decent for a fruit beer and not bad to me.
Overall, I say this wasnít a bad fruit beer, but not one Iíd want again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours hazy yellow into the glass with a fizzy dissipating head that leaves no lace. The nose is of lemon Pledge. Flavors are of lemon candies, with a seltzer water mouthfeel. Thin and unsubstantiated, this is a bit of a letdown, not too mention cloying and over-carbonated.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz drank straight from the bottle. Not enough lemon or beer flavor. Overall, quite poorly made. Muddled grain and lemony taste. Not horrible, but doesnít taste anything like a beer. Eh.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I didnít hate this. Pours a muddy yellow. Aromas are lemonade. Similar flavors. Nice and sweet. Very easy to drink. Pretty one note. But its a good note. I could drink a thousand of these on a hot day. Goes down like sweet lemon water

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz bottle. Aroma is lemon and skunk--seriously, this beer is brand new on the shelves and it smells skunky, WTF? Pours hazy pale yellow with a quickly disappearing head that leaves a collar of foam. Taste is lightly sweet and a bit tart. Along with the lemonade, I can taste a bit of coriander, skunk. It tastes quite a bit like flavored seltzer water. Carbonation is high and the body is thin. This beer is pretty disgraceful.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Nice thin small bubble lacing, medium carbonation, thin body, and light lemon aroma. Taste is grainy wheat and lemon. OK for what it is.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2013 Tap: dingy, golden-yellow, murky and hazy with a thin, wispy white head that reduces to a ring in record time. Aroma is light lemon zest, slightly tart lemon juice, faint grainy and wheaty underbody... Thatís about it. Artificially sweet lemons. Taste is disappointing, too. Lots of grains and malts up front with sweet lemon throughout. Overdone, artificial, and just not that good. Lightly tart in the middle, but it fades to a big sweetness in the finish. Aftertaste of grains and lemon. Iíd pick Leinieís Summer Shandy over this one any day.
