12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of fake lemon. Poured yellow in color with no head. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of bad lemonade and grains. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lemon and grain finish.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 PorterPounder (4610) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - Lake Ella. Pours a cloudy light golden with a quickly diminishing white head. Barely there aroma with some mown grass notes, just a brief hint of lemon. Flavor is very subdued. Faint traces of watered down lemonade, a hint of yeast, not much else. Mouthfeel is leaning to the thin side. Might be very refreshing if served ice cold I imagine.

Bottle. Light slightly hazy yellow pour with a white head. Smells like a wetnap. Lemon and slight spice. Not terrible.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ChainGangGuy (4120) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - APR 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, pale yellow body with a tall, meringue-like head, though it drops down very fast.
Smell: Artificially-flavored lemonade powder, faint spice, and just enough of a hint of beery barley to remind you this is, indeed, an adult beverage.
Taste: Lightly malty with a faint store-brand honey-flavored cereal sweetness. Given a teeny tiny pinch of ground coriander, though the accumulative lemon flavoring eventually overshadows it. It’s lemony and a little bit tart, but not overly so, and, well, that’s kind of how things go until the faintly fizzly finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Shock Top dared to take Blue Moon head-on, then, they showed up what seasonal pumpkin and fruit beers can REALLY be, and, now, Shock Top is flexin’ their summertime shandy muscles. It’s a bit sad, really.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 nick76 (4077) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2012
The aroma is dusty with dish water and lemon candy. The appearance is hazy gold with a nice head. The taste is pretty much like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall not much here seems like a fake out.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dwyerpg (4067) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Wow. This is actually kinda good. Smell is of some lemon but in zest form. Looks decent. Light and a bit bubbly. It tastes a tad of soda, but for a shandy is nice. Better than Leine’s for sure. I’m surprised, especially since I don’t like lemons much. A good day starter.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Mora2000 (4042) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is full of lemons with a hint of biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of sweet lemon notes with a hint of tartness and some malty, sugary biscuit notes. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Bleh.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3963) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was tart citrus and chalk. The flavor was tart, dry and chalky with faint lemon. Medium finish. Light body. Uninspired.
