2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of lemon, mustiness, grass, and faint wheat. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) dull yellow with a one finger fizzy white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with lemon grass/lemon candy. Itís more sweet lemon (a flavor Iím not real fond of) instead of sour/tart lemon. The finish has light wheat and cereal notes. Itís light bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall...not a fan of the sweet lemon flavors. Obviously they are looking to steal some of the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy crowd, but if I had to choose, itís an easy choice to go with Leinenkugel.

Bottle. Ugh. How did the definition of shandy get linked with lemonade? In my European experiences, they were made with lemon soda (ie, 7Up, which in some places is called ílemonadeí, but ainít). This drinks like I guess they intended ... mostly bad, industrial lemonade, with a splash of bad, industrial beer. (#4590, 5/7/2012)

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is full of lemons with a hint of biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of sweet lemon notes with a hint of tartness and some malty, sugary biscuit notes. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Bleh.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Very pale yellow, white ring.
Scent is wheat, lemon
Taste is the same with a lemonade aspect..
It bubbles furiously in a flute, yet feels dull.
If lemonade is what you crave, go for a Mikeís instead....or Countrytime.
I just donít get it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of lemon syrup with quite a bit of residual sugars is closer to juice than beer. Taste is a mix between some wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and some lemon syrup notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking wheat beer with a tad too much sugar thought.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is something akin to lemon Pledge with a bit of malted wheat and maybe a bit of coriander. Flavor wise, it walks the line between a lemon lime soda like Sprite and a really spiced Wit beer. Though it leans a bit more towards the soda qualities. Mouthfeel is fizzy and light, pretty refreshing really, with fizzy spritzy carbonation. Not terrible if youíre looking for something that tastes like soda but will still get you drunk. High school girls will love this one.

Draft during RBSG 2014 at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of lemons, soda. Tastes of lemons, wheat, lemonade. Light body with a dry finish. Fine.

12oz bottle pours out a hazy straw topped with a small white head. Nose is citrus lemon juice and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nasty lemon juice tast and some sweetness.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of pure lemons, unfinished sugars and a bit of yeast. Light-bodied; Airy, very acidic flavour with lemons obviously on the forefront, with some malt, wheat, coriander seed and funk on the end. Aftertaste is light and very very sweet - only some citric flavours cut the sweetness. Overall, not such a great beer - as expected, but if you wanted a sweet, slightly sour beer for the summertime, available at your local corner store around every city in this fine country and you have yourself an option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 18-July-2012.
