2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was tart citrus and chalk. The flavor was tart, dry and chalky with faint lemon. Medium finish. Light body. Uninspired.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of lemon, mustiness, grass, and faint wheat. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) dull yellow with a one finger fizzy white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with lemon grass/lemon candy. Itís more sweet lemon (a flavor Iím not real fond of) instead of sour/tart lemon. The finish has light wheat and cereal notes. Itís light bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall...not a fan of the sweet lemon flavors. Obviously they are looking to steal some of the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy crowd, but if I had to choose, itís an easy choice to go with Leinenkugel.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of pure lemons, unfinished sugars and a bit of yeast. Light-bodied; Airy, very acidic flavour with lemons obviously on the forefront, with some malt, wheat, coriander seed and funk on the end. Aftertaste is light and very very sweet - only some citric flavours cut the sweetness. Overall, not such a great beer - as expected, but if you wanted a sweet, slightly sour beer for the summertime, available at your local corner store around every city in this fine country and you have yourself an option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 18-July-2012.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of lemon syrup with quite a bit of residual sugars is closer to juice than beer. Taste is a mix between some wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and some lemon syrup notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking wheat beer with a tad too much sugar thought.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Iím sure the base beer is the same so the lemon additive must be better than the raspberry additive. Tasty, zesty and cuts through nicely. Not an IPA or even an APA but enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Wow. This is actually kinda good. Smell is of some lemon but in zest form. Looks decent. Light and a bit bubbly. It tastes a tad of soda, but for a shandy is nice. Better than Leineís for sure. Iím surprised, especially since I donít like lemons much. A good day starter.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, pale yellow body with a tall, meringue-like head, though it drops down very fast.
Smell: Artificially-flavored lemonade powder, faint spice, and just enough of a hint of beery barley to remind you this is, indeed, an adult beverage.
Taste: Lightly malty with a faint store-brand honey-flavored cereal sweetness. Given a teeny tiny pinch of ground coriander, though the accumulative lemon flavoring eventually overshadows it. Itís lemony and a little bit tart, but not overly so, and, well, thatís kind of how things go until the faintly fizzly finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Shock Top dared to take Blue Moon head-on, then, they showed up what seasonal pumpkin and fruit beers can REALLY be, and, now, Shock Top is flexiní their summertime shandy muscles. Itís a bit sad, really.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is dusty with dish water and lemon candy. The appearance is hazy gold with a nice head. The taste is pretty much like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall not much here seems like a fake out.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12oz, twist-off bottle. Yellow label. Pours cloudy gold color. no head. Aroma of a wheat ale with lemon Pledge added to it. Tastes like wheat ale with artificial lemon flavor and a touch of vomit added. Gross and not refreshing. It is a lightly flavored, Wheat Beer, thin and watery. Its a waste of time unless you are a girl that doesnít have taste buds. (3377)

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
How could I have missed this in the past? Is it new? From a bottle, looks better than expected. Some sediment on bottom of bottle. Smell is somewhat musty. Looks like cloudy lemonade. Some artificial flavor int he background. Decent fine sharp fizz. Does not show much alky. Fer sure it is some sort of lemony thing happening. Somewhat dull finish. OK, so I smell a little more lemon in there now. Not bad but not nearly as good as that curious traveler I just had a few minutes ago.
