Golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of pure lemons, unfinished sugars and a bit of yeast. Light-bodied; Airy, very acidic flavour with lemons obviously on the forefront, with some malt, wheat, coriander seed and funk on the end. Aftertaste is light and very very sweet - only some citric flavours cut the sweetness. Overall, not such a great beer - as expected, but if you wanted a sweet, slightly sour beer for the summertime, available at your local corner store around every city in this fine country and you have yourself an option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 18-July-2012.

Whole lemon and shitty hay nose. Cloudy amber, medium head. Lemon flavor, somewhat beery. Not half bad, quite refreshing.

Wow. This is actually kinda good. Smell is of some lemon but in zest form. Looks decent. Light and a bit bubbly. It tastes a tad of soda, but for a shandy is nice. Better than Leineís for sure. Iím surprised, especially since I donít like lemons much. A good day starter.

Sampled on 4/11/2012. This fruit beer/shandy pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with a quickly disappearing head. The aroma is slightly grassy and sweet with some lemon flavor. A light bodied fruit beer/shandy. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Not sure just what I was expecting with this one. I had full expectations of it being like those horrid German raddlers that I have sampled before. Its more like a slightly alcoholic mild lemonade, so its better than the ones I have had in the past. That said its still very unbeer like, the lemon flavor is a little artificial tasting and its malts and hops are really toned down. It is un-offensive but there is really nothing here strong enough tasting to offend. Good carbonation. Would make a decent summer drink, but I donít think I can call it a beer. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Sample at Hopfest 2014. Comes a light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, and malt. Taste is lemon, grain, and malt. Not much positive here.

Bottle. Hazy medium gold with a pillowy bright white head. The nose smells like cheap lemon candy, artificial. There is also some hint of soap. The taste is fairly sweet. Itís like mixing the regular meh shock top wit with a cheap lemonade. Wow, pretty much exactly what you would expect. Not too bad and the sweetness is tempered after a few drinks. A bland cardboard finish.

12 ounce bottle, drank straight form it. All fake lemon flavor, but still refreshing in the heat. Not as good as a Linnie, but a decent beer to have by the pool in the summer time, way better than most AB products.

12oz bottle. Aroma of lemon, light spiciness, and hints of wheat, malts, and hops. Flavor the same. Light texture. Donít understand why people buy this.

How could I have missed this in the past? Is it new? From a bottle, looks better than expected. Some sediment on bottom of bottle. Smell is somewhat musty. Looks like cloudy lemonade. Some artificial flavor int he background. Decent fine sharp fizz. Does not show much alky. Fer sure it is some sort of lemony thing happening. Somewhat dull finish. OK, so I smell a little more lemon in there now. Not bad but not nearly as good as that curious traveler I just had a few minutes ago.

Pours hazy solar yellow with a thick but effervescent eggshell head. Aroma has lemon and wheat notes, nothing else. Still, offers refreshment. Flavor is mostly lemon, with a wan wheat underpinning. Didnít get any spices. Texture has average body and almost no fizz. Hell, at least itís a new rating.
