3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. Hey I got this "summer beer " in mid September on clearance for $9.99 a case - so I am not complaining!
12 oz bottle.
Pours a cloudy light golden with a quickly diminishing white head. Barely there aroma with some mown grass notes, just a brief hint of lemon., slightly tangy. Flavor is very subdued. Faint traces of watered down lemonade, a hint of yeast, not much else. Mouthfeel is leaning to the thin side. Can be very refreshing if served ice cold.
I see where some here are hating on this beer, but for a "mass produced Shandy- this is not bad. A lot of the ladies will like this.
Not a hand crafted "throwback" English Shandy by any means.

473ml can. Poured unfiltered school bus yellow, pretty good head that died quickly. Sour lemon and wheat aromas, bit of lemonade sweetness. Taste is light wheat beer with lemonade mix in it, which isnít too bad. Overall, didn\t go overpoweringly sweet or sour, Iíd almost say bland if I didnít kind of like it.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
341 ml bottle from the Summer Variety pack, the best of the bunch, which isnít saying much. Mostly clear yellow, fine white foam. Lemony aroma and taste, mildly malty. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Inoffensive refreshing hot day beverage. MLF (More Lagerboy Friendly)

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I preferred this one to the Summer Shandy next to it. It has more wheat beer flavor and less stale lemonade. Still, the lemon flavoring is pretty sub-standard, and therefore itís not a beer Iíd ever ask for.

12oz bottle pours out a hazy straw topped with a small white head. Nose is citrus lemon juice and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nasty lemon juice tast and some sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of lemon syrup with quite a bit of residual sugars is closer to juice than beer. Taste is a mix between some wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and some lemon syrup notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking wheat beer with a tad too much sugar thought.

From a can into a chalice. Pours a cloudy gold colour, which I approve of in a wheat beer. No head, though. Aroma is weak (due to lack of head,) but has a slight sweet and zesty note. Flavour is actually not bad at all. Has that white beer richness and spice with a hint of lemon to it. Actually rather good. I wouldnít compare it to Hoegaarden in terms of wheat beer, but it is rather flavourful and suitable for a hot day.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden colour with thin white head. Aroma is dominated sweet candied lemon with hints of wheat. Flavour is also quite sweet with candyish lemon overwhelming everything else - maybe a little wheat shows through but thatís about it. Underwhelming body. Not a winner.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft pour at the end of the tour at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big white head. Notes of lemon candy, sweetened cereal (Fruity Pebbles or Froot Loops or some such nonsense), minerals, and wheat. Light-medium bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Iíd probably rather have this than the Raspberry, but itís close.
