Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat is a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale brewed with ripe pumpkins and a variety of autumnal spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, for a refreshingly smooth beer that fully captures all the flavors of fall.

Bottle poured a clear orange ambr with a lasting amber head. Aromasof carmel, cinnamon, allspice and light clove. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, cinnamon and allspice with a crisp lingering spiced finish.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2014 Had just a taste. Just basically a thin pumpkin beer. It is pretty bad and seems a bit artificial.

...had this from the bottle. On the nose are strong pie spices, some clove, and other weird notes. Has some wheat flavor, but is overpowered by all the weird spices, and after a couple, it becomes very cloying and the aftertaste is very overpowering. I kinda enjoyed the first one, but after the second, that was enough. Shock top, I’m not shocked that this is another sub-par offering.

A wheaty aroma with some spice. Flavor is mild. Light body. A little spice, some pumpkin and cinnamon. Tastes a little synthetic. I would much rather prefer some smaller breweries with their specialty pumpkin beers.

Pours an orange-amber into the glass, with a very large, fluffy head that reduces to soap lacing. The nose is of soda (cola) with some pumpkin intermingling. Flavors of pumpkin meat, pie spices, clove and some cloying sweetness. The mouthfeel is of a flat soda, which is detracting if you like your brew outside of the bottle, as inside the bottle, the carbonation doesn't have the chance to expire as quickly. Decent pumpkin brew, once you get over the cloying, "trying too hard" sweetness. At least they're on the right track.

Impromptu tasting at my birthday. Expected the worst, and was somewaht surprised. The aroma is pumpkin, lots of pumpkin spice, wheat, clove. The appearance is a hazy orange, white head. The flavor is spicy, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, pumpkin, squash, brown sugar. The finish is spicy, like nutmeg, other pumpkin spices, cloves. Medium in body, maybe slightly thin. Not too bad.

bottle - Pours hazy with many flakes and a minimal head. It has a pleasant pumpkin spice aroma. The flavor is sweet and spicy with ample yeast character. This light bodied brew is a decent one.
