From a bottle poured an amber color with a small amount of head. Spicy malty flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. Coppery and hazy. Not a big aroma and not really a pleasant one. Some chemical pumpkin flavor is not really pleasant either. Ok on a good day.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The aroma smells exactly like it has soap in it. There are faint hints of spices and pumpkin but besides soap I get macro lager. The appearance is nice cloudy amber with a large head. The taste is like the aroma with some spice and pumpkin but mostly a muddled mess. The palate is smooth. Overall not a good example of the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a lager glass. Pours a nice cloudy orange color with about 1 finger of off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and pumpkin. Taste is lightly sweet. Taste of cinnamon and pumpkin. Light bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, it’s pretty damn good. Much better than I was expecting from the Shock Top brand.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy dull orange with a generous head. Aroma has some pumpkin spice, clove and nutmeg. Not a strong aroma, but a pleasant one. Smooth taste of wheat ale, pumpkin flavoring and typical pumpkin ale spices. Surprisingly flavorful for a AB brew. Tip o’ the hat to this one!

nice pour out of the bottle. smelled slightly off, couldn’t put my finger on it.. ok taste, not too heavy on the spice and i didn’t pick up on tastes of traditional pumpkin beers. astringent on the finish.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a murky orangish gold with a white head. Aroma is pone sol and cleaner, pumpkin homebrew and ginger. Flavor is watery, bitter, reminds me of the Halloween candy aisle in Walmart a week into November.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from the Kroger on Lamar. Murky orange pour with a white head. Aroma is the beer that pikapp327 brewed with an entire pumpkin pie in the boil. It literally tastes and smells like homebrew that should have never been. My roommate brewed this beer in my backyard.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Blah. A little bit better than expected but still very average. Aroma was decent. Could pick up the nutmeg and cinnamon, especially when the schnoz was in the glass. Pour was a nice deep dark gold with a lot of rising bubbles and a one finger off white head. Taste was very thin and watery in the front. Nice carbonation drowns out most of the flavors until mid sip when the pumpkin spice comes, then quickly goes. No aftertaste. Better than the others, but that isn’t saying much
