Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat is a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale brewed with ripe pumpkins and a variety of autumnal spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, for a refreshingly smooth beer that fully captures all the flavors of fall.

Really pretty crappy. Pretty much tastes like water that has had pumpkins floatIng In It for a week.

341 ml bottle as ’Shock Top Spiced Pumpkin’ *Ale Brewed With Pumpkin and Spices. Dull orange copper, fading tan foam. Vegiefrooty pumpkin smell. Tastes of mild pumpkin and pie spices, mild malts, a bit oily, none of their ’Belgian White’ influence, thank goodness. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, low hopped. The least offensive A-B offeringto date. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Pours a cloudy tea color with poor lacing and head retention. Smells of yeast and wheat, with a subtle pumpkin odor. Tastes like pumpkin, but very mild. Below average to say the least.

Bottle at Brian’s. pretty nice nose. Nutmeg dominated I think. More of the same in the palate. A little light but decent. Underrated.

Aroma of pumpkin spice, caramel malts, potpourri... Mouthfeel is thin and watery... Light pumpkin spice, watery flavor... Minimal pumpkin... Overall a watery, unimpressive beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. Appearance: clear Amber, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: spices continue, light sweets come up, lively carbonation. Overall: OK Pumpkin Ale, nothing too spectacular though. Bottle at Admiral’s Club First Class, JFK Airport.

Poured an orange to amber colour with a thin white head. Light aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon spices, malted wheat, and faint notes of pumpkin. Flavor is a decent balance of pumpkin and spices, but these seasonal flavors are unbalanced against this beers wheat roots. Light to medium beer with light carbonation. Not a bad brew, but could improve with balance among its base flavors.
