473ml can pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of white head that settles to leave some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is raspberries and grains. Taste is a raspberry and grainy malt sweetness with a bit of tartness and a grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with good carbonation leaving a nice feel on the tongue. A decent easy drinking brew, would be only good very chilled for a hot summer day.

Transfer from BA review on 7-22-12 - Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy amber color with a medium white head. The head faded relatively fast leaving only a small amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma was a mix of wheat and raspberry. The raspberry was the more overpowering of the two and created an overall very sweet smell. Taste – The taste was as would be expected from the nose. It started out with notes of wheat and a lighter raspberry flavor. As the flavor advanced however the raspberry took over and dominated the taste, leaving a sweet berry flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the light to average side with a carbonation level that was very middle of the ground. Overall – A sweet brew with a good dose of raspberry flavor. It you want an affordable berry flavored beer this would be one to take on.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 Tall boy can. Pours a cloudy light amber. Aromas of sweet raspberry jam are extremely strong right out of the gate. Hard to detect anything else lying under it, but there is mild wheat. Taste wise, raspberry jam and oddly enough maraschino cherries. Overall this is an interesting summer beverage and my raspberry loving wife is enjoying it, but for me I put it more in a category with wine coolers and raspberry flavoured hard lemonades, than actual beer.

Can. Pour is cloudy gold, fluffy white head. Nose is sweet, a touch tart, raspberry. Tastes thin, a touch raspberry, not as sweet as I expected. Aftertaste of fluoride.

Poured from bottle. Smells ok, raspberry jam and wheat. Not too shabby looking either - cloudy gold white head. I taste raspberry sherbet, bread, juice. Not getting any coriander or spice as promised. Drinkable stuff, but reminds me more of a wine cooler than beer.

Actually not too bad for a raspberry beer. Not too overwhelming. Pours an average cloudy yellow. Smells intensely of raspberry. More in the taste, but not too fake tasting. Had on tap at Fontana in NYC. Valerie gives it a 5.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy gold body with a slight pinkish tinge and a creamy white head - looks quite nice, really. Aroma of raspberry jam - not homemade jam, mind you, but overly sweetened mass produced store bought stuff - with a faint backnote of wheat and lemon. Body starts fairly crisp, but as the beer warms, it gets sticky and cloying. Flavour is just what the aroma suggests - i.e. sweet artificial-tasting raspberry on top of a weak wheat ale. A poor showing.

Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of fake raspberry syrup is quite awful with quite a bit of residual sugars. This is closer to a cooler than beer. Taste is a mix between some grainy wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and way too much of the awful raspberry syrup. Body is light with good carbonation. I wasn’t expecting some kind of masterpiece but what a bunch of crap this beer was.

This tastes like rare and whale. 5.0. Or, actually, it is a shitty novelty beer by AB InBev and I want nothing to do w/ it. It tastes like raspberry crystal light mixed in w/ some kind of bland wheat beer. What really kills it though is the gross, thick texture. It does look pretty nice w/ a decent head though so there’s that. Next time I run across this stuff, I am going to look at it and refrain from drinking it for maximum pleasure.

Pour from a 12 oz. bottle at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten in St. Louis. Pours a cloudy gold, barely tinted, with a small white head. Not much spice to speak of but plenty of raspberry flavoring to go along with wheat and sweet citrus. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. I won’t revisit this one.
