1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Nice and cloudy in appearance, lots of yeast, or it was lightly filtered, or I am just guessing. Tastes funny, artificial fruit flavoring most likely. I did not care enough to read the label on the bottle. Moving along.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz. bottle from the boy (it’s free, or else I would not have bought it!) served in shaker- poured a murky dulled orange color, one finger white head disappeared upon command. Aroma of a grocery store citrus soda, and some raspberries. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt went on vacation on this one, very fake raspberry sensation in the middle, finish, like any fine ABInBev product becomes water within milliseconds. NEXT.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bought at Krogers.
Hazy yellow, medium head. Aroma: Fruit preserves. Flavor: Raspberry followed by yeast, somewhat tart and cloying. Sweet finish.

While the raspberry aroma is enticing, after awhile it begins to taste like cough syrup.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Color was hazy yellow, almost pineapple. Looked a lot like a hefeweizen. About an inch of head. Frosty lacing on the top. Frosty sporadic film on the sides.
Smelled of raspberry right away with what also appeared to be strawberries. Nothing else really came through.
Tasted raspberry up front, but not as strong as I thought it would be considering the smell. Not much happened after the initial raspberry hit, though.
Light body. Slick texture. Lively carbonation (moderate). Smooth finish with raspberry left on the tongue.
Embarressly (that’s a new word), I liked this beer a lot more before I started rating beers. I still enjoy it as it reminds me of raspberry ice cream. Good summer beer.

Pretty solid beverage, the raspberry really drowns out the shock top taste, creating a decent beer

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 ounce bottle. Served in a mug, the beer pours a hazy gold color (with a few floaties) and about a half inch white head. The head doesn’t stay around for long, and there’s a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is raspberries (more syrup than fresh raspberries) and some wheat. Taste is the same as the aroma, it’s all raspberries and wheat. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it has moderate carbonation and it goes down easy. Not too bad, overall. I’d drink this again in the future.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2011 Purchased on my trip to Vegas at the Total Wine store. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small white cap that leaves decent lacing. Very nice smelling raspberry scent with hints of oranges and wheat. Very light tartiness in the mouthfeel, but just made to go down easy. The taste is a bit milder than the aromas, but still well-balanced between the fruit and the grain. Really not bad at all coming from AB (especially the part written about using the stuff at the bottom of the bottle).

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at GABF. Pours a pale gold with a frothy white head. Pretty generic. Light haze. Nose is somewhat artificial smelling, essence of raspberry and a hint of bread? On the sweeter side in the nose, lacking the more rustic raspberry notes. On taste, pretty bland. Light tartness and some raspberry poking through. Lacks character and depth. Easy to drink, though. Meh.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A nice jammy aroma, puts me in the mind of a raspberry danish. Bad label, the beer itself is hazy but clean and golden looking. Thin lacing white head. Sweet - a little too cough syrupy for my taste - the raspberry was ham-handed. Low bittering, pasty mouthfeel. Flaccid - loses its effervescence and there’s not enough backbone to the liquid without it. Tart, slightly bitter aftertaste with berries. Meh. Part of a mixpack, ABC Liquors, Appalachee Parkway.
