Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium orange with a slight yellow hue and a large (2-3 finger) white fizzy head that was mostly diminishing and had a little bit of spotty lacing.
The aroma had a mild funky odor, along with hay malts, grassy hops, and a musty yeast with a just a light hint of citrus (lemon and orange).
The taste was a tiny bit sweet and a tad acidic with a mild wheat feel at first and then progressed into a more pronounced yeast flavor that was very mildly bitter and had a note of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration with taste of wheat lasting beyond any of the other flavors.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a fizzy carbonation.
Overall not a bad beer, but not a good one either. So much for AB Inbev trying to break into the Craft Beer marketÖ

Wheat IPA? Okay, sounds interesting. Well, Iíve had this several times, letís say something about this.
Most of the time, Iíve had this in pint glasses, but once I experimented with a weizen glass. Basically, the only thing that happened was that the head lasted an exceptionally long time. I think at least a good 4 minutes (too long, perhaps, unsure).
Here we go.
The appearance was a hazy orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head in the pint glass. The head in the weizen glass was about a good three fingers sustaining. The lacing in both glasses was fairly thick and in both glasses, it slid right into the beer.
The smell had mostly a thick wheatiness about it, and that was about it.
The taste had a thick wheaty flavoring about it.
The palate was about a medium in the body with a fairly thick carbonation allowing the wheat to combine to give a certain fullness about this beer.
Overall, did I like this? Hmmm...well, I did what the side of the bottle said (the pour 2/3 of the bottle and then swirl and pour the rest and serve part). After following the instructions, hmmm...I still didnít think it helped it too much. Anyways, okay, well next beer, please. But my last words, well, this wasnít much of an IPA or a wheat beer. I really donít know what Budweiser was really trying to do with this one.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small, short lived white head. Sweet aroma of citrus, malt and wheat. Sweet flavour of citrus, caramel and malt with a bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture and average carbonation.

Draft @ a local chain restaurant. This is part of the reason I hate corporate chain eating establishments, they never anything respectable on draft. Aroma of light citrus orange and dusty wheat.
Flavor has a subdued floral hoppiness. Hints of grass with weak citrus notes. Main body is grain and light in body with a slightly dry texture. Well, this is a better offering than Twisted Pretzel I had right before this, not saying much but I was able to finish the whole pint. It is about what I expected it to be and after all it is AB In-Bev, yep!

From BA review conducted on 2-25-12 -
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance Ė Pours a hazy golden orange color with a billow white head. The head fades leaving a thin persistent film and some nice lacing.
Smell Ė Very little to be detected here. For an IPA the hop aroma is definitely lacking. A very light piney aroma and possibly the slightest bit of citrus mixed with a little bit of wheaty malt aroma.
Taste Ė The taste is better than the nose would let on. Initially there is some piney hop flavor mixed in with a bit of wheat bread flavor. The flavor then shifts to a little bit of sweet malt of fruit; a combination of citrus fruit and some brown sugar. At the very end there is a nice citrusy hop flavor which takes hold and leaves a nice aftertaste in the mouth.
Mouthfeel Ė A medium to slightly above medium, body with a moderate to a bit high, carbonation level. The body is a bit dry, which with the carbonation kind of tingles on the tongue. Quite appropriate of the brew.
Overall- For the price of the brew it really is quite nice. The aroma is definitely lacking but the taste makes up for it. A good session beer; easy to drink and affordable.

Trying to be a competitor to blue moon i guess. Still prefer blue moon if Iím forced to drink one. Add an orange to itís more tolerable.

Aroma is wheat, medicinal, spicy, fruit. Pours hazy copper with a super dense, beautiful orangeish off white cap. Kool-aid sweetness, light citrus, medicine, chemicals, wheat. I hate to say bad things about any beer but this really is offensive to the palate. Besides the lack of hop flavor for the style, theres something else here that leaves a residual bad taste. The appearance is great...Two thumbs up. Everything else is thumbs down. Slick, watery mouthfeel.

bottle. Golden with small head. Take a mediocre wheat beer and add the faintest trace of some hops. It could be worse, but others have done this so much better.

Light amber bodied with a bubbly medium head, this WIPA (?) smells of oranges, all from the peels and not from the hops. It tastes all sweet and orangey with little of any hop bitterness. Thereís also a hit of butterscotch thatíís really out of place. Why is "IPA" in the name?

Evidently after InBev discovered that people are jumping ship from the "barely-beer" that ab tapped out for generations they had to try to protect their $60 billion investment. So theyíre trying to break into the craft market. Donít let them or they will destroy the smaller independent brewers. Notice that the success of this market has been slow to find the mainstream media. You would think that this would haev been on 60 minutes by now. Thatís because of the huge advertising dollars of InBev, Coors and SAB.
