3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Craft Beer Festa Kyoto 2015. Big chocolatey nose, kind of severe. Deep dark brown, creamy tan head. Chocolate, mild dark roast, fairly light and sweet through mid and final. Thin-medium body, very creamy. Impressive aromas. Quite a porter, and stretching out towards the feel and flavor of a stout.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
At the Yokohama Brewer’s Cup, it pours an opaque black with a minimal tan head. It has a decent chocolate aroma and looks nice. A mild mouthfeel, easy to drink with chocolate at first and then had a bit of a burnt aftertaste. A very solid chocolate porter. Good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Listed as 6% on the latest label. Nose is very subtle - some milk and dark chocolate. Good, reasonably rich body. A fair bit of Chocolate without being too sweet and very smooth with no roast. A very easy beer to drink. Well made.
