railcat1 (484), Hammond, Indiana, USA Jul 17, 2007 On tap at brewpub, a orange look to it with a a malty sweetness that is hard to descibe, not sure how strong but it was a different type of beer for me.CHEERS! Cornfield (4254), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jul 16, 2007 This is the first commercial brew of the new assistant brewer, and it’s not a bad effort. I was taken aback somewhat by the appearance, an orange bodied altbier. The head was okay and the lacing was constant. The aroma seem to be a bit too caramelly, but that faded in the flavor. It tasted of sweet malt with pepper and a floral/grassy bitterness that lasted into the finish. Not bad.

muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 6, 2007 Draught sample at the brewpub, June 19 2007. Medium translucent amber, bit head, no lacing...lightly spicy aroma, noble hops present if muted, a touch of banana and clove? is this a hefeweizen or an altbier?.....dry, faintly fruity body, touch of caramel, light grassy hops, bit of mushy banana....light chalky finish. Hmmm, was this an example of different beer/same name? Except I had this just a couple of days (apparently) after the last reviewer. Heck I dunno, but it was so average I really don’t care either. tjthresh (1268), LaPorte, Indiana and Belton, Missouri, USA Jun 15, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Copper hue, but served with no head. Lots of hops here. Clean hop aromas, but not much malt character. Same with the flavor. Highly carbonated. They even admitted to me that it didn’t turn out the way they planned. Oh well. Give another go, and I’ll revisit this.
