3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft sample at IBGWF 12. Poured dark reddish brown color and an average frothy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy tart rasperry fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium tart fruit flavor with a medium tart fruit finish of moderate duration. Refreshing fruit beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at the Brewery. Dirty earthy nose with alcohol and malt. Clear yellow body with a thin head. Grain pale malts and alcohol flavors with a raspberry yogurt finish. Dry boozy. I’m glad I stuck with the sampler, this would be tough to finish. 7/3/7/3/13 3.3

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap: Ruby hue with a minimal head nor lace. The aroma is RASPBERRY, oh there is some pale biscuity malt, mineral water and slight ginger like spicy tones. The taste is full frontal twangy raspberry (and a little grape too) with a pale malt old school British kilned tone. Light peppery and clove notes with a moderately boozy finish. The mouth feel is somewhat sticky and lush, soft bodied and warming alcohol but not abrasive. It is okay, nothing more other than being different. I guess I hoped for more twang or complexity... wild yeast perhaps?
