COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summit and Nugget hops make a great combination in this American style IPA. Super hoppy from start to finish with a huge malt backbone made this beer an instant favorite at the Shoreline.

Hazy golden-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle: Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a short beige head. Orange/tangerine scent. Creamy, sticky fruit flavour with a very strong, grassy hop bitter...malty... Pretty well done.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2014 Nice floral hop aroma and nice complex hops when it hits the tip of the tongue, but it went downhill from there. Once it got to the back of my mouth, all that was there were harsh bitter notes and quinine. Edit: I’m not sure if it was due to warming over my hour drinking the bomber or just acclimating to the beer, but it was significantly better at the end. A mild sweetness emerged that balanced the hop bitterness and made for a nice beer. I’m not sure it’s worth a bomber, but it’s a solid beer.

This was courtesy of Strykzone. Thanks Dave. From the 22 oz bottle poured a copper color with and off-white head and good lacing. Nose of pine and citrus hops on caramel malts. Medium in body with a resinous mouth fee. Flavor is big on hops and moderately bitter. Finish dry, bitter, and flavorful. Good beer.

Draft at brewery. The pour is a clear bright orange. The aroma is floral big hops. The taste is a nice subtle hop profile. Much of what I would expect from an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Lime, orange and orange peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange-lime malt and moderately bitter orange peel/quinine flavor. Like the malt but hops a bit harsh.

Draft. Bland fruity malt aroma. Hazy dark gold with a small off-white head. Dry apricot malt and grassy herbal hops flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Cloudy, deep amber body. Short, off-white head. Aroma of raw grain, leafy hops, resin and pine. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Unclean mouthfeel. Mostly resin with some vinegary notes. Tasted old even though it was fresh.

Pour from a 22oz bomber. Beautiful clear reddish copper brew with off white head. Aroam of pine, citrus, earth. Taste has a little malt at the start, lots of pine and citrus in the middle and a piney / earthy / resinous finish. Finely crafty, nicely complex, totally delicious. This is a really excellent IPA.

Not usually a fan of summit but this one is juicy and dank and unlikely combo but good.
