3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice floral hop aroma and nice complex hops when it hits the tip of the tongue, but it went downhill from there. Once it got to the back of my mouth, all that was there were harsh bitter notes and quinine.
Edit: Iím not sure if it was due to warming over my hour drinking the bomber or just acclimating to the beer, but it was significantly better at the end. A mild sweetness emerged that balanced the hop bitterness and made for a nice beer. Iím not sure itís worth a bomber, but itís a solid beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was courtesy of Strykzone. Thanks Dave. From the 22 oz bottle poured a copper color with and off-white head and good lacing. Nose of pine and citrus hops on caramel malts. Medium in body with a resinous mouth fee. Flavor is big on hops and moderately bitter. Finish dry, bitter, and flavorful. Good beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewery. The pour is a clear bright orange. The aroma is floral big hops. The taste is a nice subtle hop profile. Much of what I would expect from an ipa.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Cloudy, deep amber body. Short, off-white head. Aroma of raw grain, leafy hops, resin and pine. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Unclean mouthfeel. Mostly resin with some vinegary notes. Tasted old even though it was fresh.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour from a 22oz bomber. Beautiful clear reddish copper brew with off white head. Aroam of pine, citrus, earth. Taste has a little malt at the start, lots of pine and citrus in the middle and a piney / earthy / resinous finish. Finely crafty, nicely complex, totally delicious. This is a really excellent IPA.

Not usually a fan of summit but this one is juicy and dank and unlikely combo but good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
5 oz pour on tap at the brewpub (Michigan City, IN). Pours a rich glowing golden hue, touches of amber dance in with good haze, glowing body and a frothy whitish head that dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are earthy bitter hops, dry florals and grass mix with a bit of lemon, dry earthy hops. Touches of soap, gentle grapefruit. Some touches of pale malts, touch sweeter biscuit. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied offering a firm bitter hopping up front, dry and bitter earthy hopsn florals and grass mix with a kiss of pine, lemons, and some gentle spice. Middle offers a mellow sweetness, pale malts meet a touch of caramel, faint toast as dryness returns into the back. Bitter earth, gentle lemon and grapefruit, a touch sweet and buttery element sticks into the backend and middle, which kinda takes me off my game. Promising, solid IPA that I expected to be much sweeter. Fresher vibrant hops, some decent complexity, with just one little bad element in that touch of sweetness. Solid.
