Low Gluten American India Pale Lager
Alien Einstein is a light bodied India Pale Lager with a dull golden color and an inviting aroma of tangy grapefruit juice. A bright burst of fruity and earthy hop flavors immediately hits the palate. This beer exemplifies the well-rounded versatility of the American Mosaic hops used exclusively in this beer.

Golden orange pour with most of white suds on top, fairly cloudy. Average carbonation, thick creamy mouthfeel, almost gritty dry finish. Aroma of sticky orange, nutty and bitter malts. Flavor of light roast coffee and citrus, nutty malts, resinous bitter. Nice beer.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus fruit and malt aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Very good beer.

Poured from a bottle dated 05/19/2015. Aroma is fairly hop forward with some nice citrus notes including grapefruit and orange. Light tropical and stone fruit with medium light resin. Some light cracker malt notes. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that slowly recedes to the edges. Medium lacing and smallish legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a light grainy, cracker note. Medium bitterness with moderately strong hop flavors. Hops are mostly grapefruit and orange with some lighter pine and resin. Even lighter stone fruit is also present. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer with a good hop character. Easy drinking and fairly crisp, this comes across slightly larger than a session IPA but just as easy to drink lots of. As it warms the hop character, especially the aroma, become more dank.

Wow, super dank, weed and more weed on both the taste and aroma, maybe some lemon grass, pretty good

Bottle... Pours mostly clear and golden with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma is a juicy, fruity medley of mango, cantaloupe, honeydew, peach, pluot and grapefruit, accompanied by a light undertone of musky, pungent armpit. Medium-bodied and raspy with adequate carbonation. The flavor provides a truckload of juicy tropical fruits, stone fruits, melons and citrus fruits - mango, cantaloupe, honeydew, peach and pluot with heaps of grapefruit and tangerine rind bitterness. Lengthy, coarse, bitter finish that dries way out. This lager is stupid fruity and delicious. Bottle courtesy of FlandersNed!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a bright golden color with a small white head that quickly fades. Aroma of bright fruit, pine, citrus. Strong floral and earth notes . Flavor is bitter forward with a crisp body. Strong citrus rind and mild fruitiness. Lively carbonation. Finish is tight, crisp, nice. This is a great beer with one of my favorite hop varietels. Fun.

12oz Bottle. Really nice gentle, balanced fresh citrus aroma. New American hops at a sustainable rate and clean. Flavors follow this Mosaic bent with fresh lemon, orange, and pineapple flavors over a plain green bitterness that’s balancing. The malt body is a bit mushy and lightly fruity, it’s fine and pale and generally working with the hop flavors. I’d take a bit more tooth, but I think for what it’s trying to be it works well. I like the use of Mosaic here, juicy, fresh and flavorful.

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, vanilla, wood and some mild grassyness as well. Flavour is quite nectary, wooden with mild vanilla and honeyu. Semidry palate. Rather nice.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2014 Bottle: Very, very pale, straw body with a cloudiness throughout; a moderately soapy white head doesn’t last for very long. Aroma is kind of strange; somewhat funky, corny, grainy... hard to describe, to say the least. Light vegetal notes, backed up (thankfully) by a stronger floral presence. Earthy hop back-end. This beer almost smells "sweaty", but not exactly in a brettanomyces type of way. The taste is more abrasively hop forward; a nice bite up front with notes of pine & good hop oil pungency. More spicy & earth laden hop notes in the back-end with nary a malt bill to be found, save for a very tame, grainy undercurrent. Faint hints of bitter citrus pith linger in the aftertaste in this bitter beast. The flavor is far superior to the nebulous aroma; hop heads will love the strong perceivable bitterness paired with the nearly nonexistent malt bill. Like a very bitter American Pale Ale on the palate. Not bad, I guess, for being nearly gluten free.
