3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a light golden orange with white head. Citrus aroma. Taste is pine, grassy hops and orange with a bitter finish. A really good amount of flavor given the low abv.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from mikem409. Pours a mostly opaque orange-blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity and hoppy, lots of citrus, and the orange peel comes through pretty clearly. Taste is heavy bitter, mild-medium sweet. Finish is bitter. Medium body, one of the more full-bodied <5% ABV beers I’ve ever had, well carbonated. If you want something really hoppy on a hot day, this is perfect.

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap. Major IPA fan. Decided to try an "IPL". Amber, small head. Light, with orange flavoring. Medium Zeus hopping. A beer designed for summer. A nice light hop alternative for an IPA fan looking for something on a hot summer day.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I think it is a solid beer. Def tastes like your standard heavily-hopped ipa with orange and citrus.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light yellow. Heavy citrus pineapple aroma. Couldn’t really get on board with the spice and hop flavor as much as I would have liked. Interesting beer though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2013 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange color with a small foamy head that quickly fades, leaves some webbing. Aroma is very woody, sorta like cedar wood, with some flowers and orange citrus too. Taste is big on the woody forest taste with a hint orange. Light sweetness and moderate bitterness. Big pale malt taste is there too that you get from a good lager. Long dry, bitter finish. Overall, I like the woody taste but it’s also very overpowering. Very dry too. Would be hard to drink more than one of these. I’m starting to see many more India Pale Lagers now. Does a new style need to be created here? Unfair to compare this to IPA’s.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pour in tulip glass. Pour is a orange/gold color with a slight haze. Nice half inch or so white head that lingers to an "oil spill appearance" on top. Aroma is citrus, grassy, piney, sweet, with a hint of grapefruit. Taste is a smooth, light, hoppy, bitterness that lingers slightly. You can taste some pine/grassyness to it and is a clean, crisp, light, slightly dry ending, nowhere near the dryness of prolonged enjoyment though. Overall a pretty good brew

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
this IPA had a clear light orange pour and it gave a one to two finger white head that receded to a thin cover and ring, the glass had a center stream that had a medium flow, it left nice spots of lacing on the glass, the bottom of the bottle had a layer of light brown sediment,
this ale had aromas of citrus, grass and faint pine hops, light toasted malt, orange, a little fruit sweetness,
there were flavors of pine, citrus and grass hops with light toasted malt, some orange fruit and very little sweetness,
the finish had a light hop bitterness that lingered on the mouth for a bit, and left the palate a little dry,
the mouth feel was light on the palate with a little creaminess and average carbonation,
a light IPA with pine and grassy hops, not big on the hops but enough to give some bitterness and to dry the palate.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Shakespere’s Pub, Kalamazoo, MI. Hazy straw yellow with mop suds of white on top. Kind of faint, very juicy grapefruit hop aroma. Very nice smell but wish it was stronger. Low carbonation and tingly mouth feel. Kind of dry finish that’s very bitter. Taste is also pretty bitter. Woodsy, piney aromatic and pert salty malt flavor that’s not super heavy. Fairly light and bitter overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle in a stemless bulb. Pours golden with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of floral and citrusy hops plus light orange and a nice caramel/pale maltiness. Flavor really good with a nice citrus component. Average texture. A good beer.
