COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beard of Zeus is a super hoppy India style Pale Lager. We heavily hopped the final runnings of a Peaches and Créme batch with Zeus hops and then lagered it. Small amounts of bitter orange peel was added to provide subtle sweet flavors to the beer and enhance the aromas of the Zeus hops.

GABF 2012. Yellow. Bright hop aroma with a fresh hop aroma, like a wet-hop ipa, with a floral character. One of the better IPAs I had at GABF.

Bottle from mikem409. Pours a mostly opaque orange-blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity and hoppy, lots of citrus, and the orange peel comes through pretty clearly. Taste is heavy bitter, mild-medium sweet. Finish is bitter. Medium body, one of the more full-bodied <5% ABV beers I’ve ever had, well carbonated. If you want something really hoppy on a hot day, this is perfect.

Bought a single from the Blue Goat wine shop in TC. Poured in tulip glass. Pour is a orange/gold color with a slight haze. Nice half inch or so white head that lingers to an "oil spill appearance" on top. Aroma is citrus, grassy, piney, sweet, with a hint of grapefruit. Taste is a smooth, light, hoppy, bitterness that lingers slightly. You can taste some pine/ grassyness to it and is a clean, crisp, light finish

The Beard of Zeus pours a mostly clear golden yellow with a decent ivory head that doesn’t last too long. The aroma is citrus and bread. The flavor is citrus, orange and bread. Overall this beer is pretty solid.

A Premium Lager from a premium trader, thanks Jason! Pours orange hold with a white head that quickly fades to a ring and a dusting. Aroma is white bread, orange, slightly dank. Malt backbone is light, basically disappears behind orange citrus hop. Orange peel bitter in the finish. This is a tasty IPL.

Not the lager you were expecting. This is more APA with a ton of hops. Very crisp and clean like a lager with lots of flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Nearly clear, yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Lager yeast, lemon aroma. Lemon-peel, grain malt flavour....resiny/citrus-peel bitter. Very hoppy, malty.... Big stuff in a light ABV package.

Bottle. Earthy ginseng (almost like sassafras root) and lemon biscuit malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet peach/lemon, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay/ginseng flavor. Good body. Really different.

Bottle. Pours a boring goldish sort of color and has aromas of oranges with a little bit of maltiness. Flavor is heavy with bitter orange. It’s overpowering, but lovely.
