12 fl oz bottle. Pours a near balck body with medium choco-brown head. Dryish roasted coffe/chocolate aroma with a hint cherries. Mils sour-accented cherry flavor, overpowerd by lightly sweet and roasted chocolatey malts. Notes of ash, faint wood. Medium body, slick in the mouth. A fine bitterness in the finish. Not very fruity, yet a more than decent Porter.

Black colored pour with a huge tan head. The head is slow to fall. Lacing is there. A sour cherry, coffee, chocolate aroma. Some notes of smoke and caramel. Flavor is mostly chocolate and malt. Hints of caramel. A little bit of a sour cherry taste. A little tangy and sweet. Not bad.

Bottle at Pibar, Lausanne
Black color, with generous brown head, compact. Initially the aroma is metallic, blood, then it tunes to some better chocolate and fruits. Good chocolate and caramel flavor, with mild and nice fruit and acidity. Moderate bitterness. Very good when warmer.

Opaque black beer. Chocolate brown head. Lightly sour - toasted malt nose. Softish dry palate. Sourish dark malt, not bitter, not too dry. This is a light porter. There is a fruity tone but Black Cherry? Pretty subtle. Finishes with more sourish malt and a pinch of chocolate. Drinkable porter.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a color somewhere between purple and black with a big brown head and an aroma of overripe cherries, alcohol and caramel covered biscuits. The taste is high on sweet cherries and dark roasted malts, with notes of espresso coffee, dark choclate bitterness, plums and whole-grain cookies. Nice, but a bit weird beer.

Bottle @ Haand festival. Pour black/dark brown, with a small brown head. Aroma of coffee, a little chocolate, sour berries... Taste a little sweet, with some bitter notes. A little watery body, with an average carb.

(35 cl bottle from Bjergtrolden) Pours black with little, tan head that fades quickly. Decent lace. Aroma is roasted malt with hints of tartness and something metallic. Watery texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a tart and roasted finish. Taste is initially weak berry but ends on a stronger note of something roasted and bitter. Not my cup of tea.
