Bottle from mora2000. Murky orange pour with a little head. Aroma is tomato, pickles, and pepper. Taste is tartness, very salty, and lots of pickle, and lots of salt. Finish is like the fresh dill blowing in the breeze in Markus’s childhood.

Bottle Courtesy mora2000. Pours very murky orangish red with a light carbonation. Nose is salty, salsa, roasted tomatoes and grass. Flavor is salty, ketchup, black pepper and cold pizza. Spicy finish. Not my thing.

bottle, thanks to mora2000, pours muddy orange, has a strong salty beef bouillion aroma, flavor of beefy tomato soup but more herbal, finish is sour

Bottle: The aroma consists of sweet tomatoes, horse raddish, dill, and pepper. It pours a mostly transparent orange with lots of sediment and small white head that quickly fades to a ring. A more vigorous pour may have yielded a bigger head, but I poured it very slowly in order to avoid some of the chunks at the bottom of the bottle. The flavor starts with a light sweet tomato sauce and horse raddish. The finish has light dill and pepper. Light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. I didn’t have high expectations for this at all and expected it to be terrible. It’s decent...just different and not something I could probably drink a lot of.

On tap at Sunset for their Shorts event prior to EBF. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber. Dill, garlic pickles and vegetable soup on the nose. All things I like quite a bit. Just not as a beer. Tastes like pickles and V8. Sort of gross. Interesting, yes, but gag inducing as well. Not as bad as Chelada, but definitely nasty. Why? Why would you do this?

Part of the 13 Shorts in one night tasting at the Mikes on 2/18/11. Thanks Mike. Saved it for the last beer of the night, because we were afraid of how bad it might be. References were made to the Pizza beer from another brewer. Celery and salt and tomatoes. Hazy in the glass and in the mouth. Amazingly, it wasn’t the worst of the night. Still couldn’t drink a full 12oz of this if it were offered. No thank you.

I enjoyed this. Hazy orange color. The horseradish is prominent. Some salt, and citrus in the finish.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2011 Bottle. Pours a reddish, hazy gol with nice white head, good lacing. Aroma is v8 meets beer, I get celery, dill, pepper, malts, cigar tobacco, and cucumber? Weird. Palate is rather light, but has a small bite. Flavor brings out an earthy flavor. Very weird.
