COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bonafide Legit is a light bodied, honey colored Pale Ale. It is brewed entirely with Michigan grown and malted barley, and Summit hops. The excellent aroma is floral and has fruity characteristics. Earthy pine and notable herbal accents coats the entire mouth, which is followed by a big resiny bitterness that lingers into the dry finish.

Solid aroma. Good appearance. Taste is good but not great. Hits the palate well. I give it a 70.

Decent beer. I expect more from Short’s though. Great aroma, tastes lacks just a bit. Would try again.

12oz bottle from Umich03jm. Thanks, Jason! No bottle date, but I know I’ve had this a bit too long. Pours yellow gold with a hint of white head. Aroma is peach, mango, mild citrus. Flavor is pale malt, mango, grassy bitterness in the finish.

Tropical fruit and pine with some nice clean and moderately sweet flavor. Relatively light with a ton of hop flavor.

Bottle. Hazy gold/orange body. Frothy white head. Aroma of resin, pine, orange peel, toasted grain, raw grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Lots of resin and raw graininess in the lingering, bitter finish.

Piney aroma, and pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a full white head. Starts with some malt sweetness, which then fades back to allow the hops to take front stage. Earthy, with a bit of pine comes out, and lingers in a long finish. Nice clean bitterness, and a very drinkable IPA.

Very fresh tasting. Lemons, citrus peel, grapefruit, hop bitterness, toasted rye and light caramel. Orange zest and pine finish. Perfect carbonation to match.

12oz bottle, big thanks to umich03jm! Bottled 08/07/14. Totally hazy golden orange color. Finger of off-white head, with good retention. Leaves nice thicker lace. Big citrusy kind of piney rindy mildly spicy hop. Clean minimal bready malt. Pretty dry finish. Medium plus body. Smooth, light carbonation. Pretty big bitter taste, light sweet. Definitely a lot more bitter than your typical pale ale, I can see why the label says IPA. Maybe the style should be changed? Pretty solid, impressively hoppy stuff. Maybe a touch too dry though, and a slight bit of staleness in the finish.
