3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Piney aroma, and pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a full white head. Starts with some malt sweetness, which then fades back to allow the hops to take front stage. Earthy, with a bit of pine comes out, and lingers in a long finish. Nice clean bitterness, and a very drinkable IPA.

12oz bottle, big thanks to umich03jm! Bottled 08/07/14. Totally hazy golden orange color. Finger of off-white head, with good retention. Leaves nice thicker lace. Big citrusy kind of piney rindy mildly spicy hop. Clean minimal bready malt. Pretty dry finish. Medium plus body. Smooth, light carbonation. Pretty big bitter taste, light sweet. Definitely a lot more bitter than your typical pale ale, I can see why the label says IPA. Maybe the style should be changed? Pretty solid, impressively hoppy stuff. Maybe a touch too dry though, and a slight bit of staleness in the finish.

Sampled from a bottle,
this ale had a hazy medium orange pour with a little muted yellow colors and it gave a large white cover that receded to a sticky ring and thin layer, the receding head left lots of lacing on the glass, lots of rings and spots of lacing on the sides of the glass,
the nose had hop notes that were citrus and fruity, hops were lemon, orange, grapefruit and a little guava fruit, light toasted malt with a little fruit and bread sweetness in the background,
the flavors were citrus and fruity bitter hops with some orange fruit, light toasted malt with malt and fruit sweetness,
the finish had a good bite of bitterness that lingered a bit on the palate,
the mouth feel was light and creamy, and had average carbonation,
this was a very hoppy for an American Pale drink, I was not expecting a beer that was this hoppy, a good beer.
