Bottle 12fl.oz.

[ Trade by saxo ]. Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, roasted, caramel, toffee, butter, queasy sweet. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, berry, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110819]

Bottled. A slightly hazy deep red beer with a thin beige tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, bourbon, and alcohol. The is sweet with notes of lightly roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon, wood, red berries, and roasted bread, leading to a dry roasted and alcoholic finish. The alcohol burns the tongue. 22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is distinct bourbon and wooden, dark caramelish. Mild fruity note. Sweet vanilla malty flavoured. Light bourbon warmth from back of the tongue. Smooth malty finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseMan. Pours a clear dark brown with a warm tint of red with and a beige head. Fat bourbon nose. Rather light body, roasted malts, plenty of vanilla and roast, some dried fruits and loads of Bourbon. A fun beer - try serving this for a German! 280110

Bottle at Papsø. Clear red brown coloured with a small beige head. Sweet aroma of dried fruits, liquorice, oak, vanilla and bourbon. Sweet flavour of dried fruits, liquorice, hops, oak and bourbon with roasted notes. Sweet and roasted finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty sweetish toffee aroma. Sweetish malty caramel and chocoalte flavor. Has a sweetish malty toffee finish with hints of bourbon.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Sweet liquorice, toffee, vanilla and cookies. Smooth and sweet. Yet - very tasty. I like it.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are vanilla, roast malt, bourbon, fruits and hops.
