Ok, so this beer isn’t as terrible as the rating might dictate but honestly it smells like poop. Seriously. It reminds me of when I changed my nephews diaper. That smell.
Takes away from every part of this beer experience.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Wheat & Rye in Romulus, MI. Pour is amber with a white head. Lots and lots of lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and pine. Taste is very dry, citrus, pine, but it lacks the malty sweetness that I like. Aroma is nicer than the taste. Not particularly bitter. Medium slick mouthfeel.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Mild grapefruit aroma, a little cheesy. Hazy amber colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is malty with a decent bitterness. Has a little cardboard and stale bread notes. Tastes all right, but does not exactly have "tons of citrus hoppiness". Might be old, but who knows? The brewery might want to put a freshness date on their beers...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with a touch of citrus. Actually, it smells like a decent lager. Bitter, hoppy flavour, giving way tocitric notes and reverting to hoppy bitternes with a hint of dark chocolate. Bitter aftertaste. Quite pretentious but drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(from notes) On draft at Basement Burger Bar on February 19. The pour is a dark gold with hints of copper, maybe orange, and there is a decent white head that fades down leaving gorgeous lace. The aroma is very hoppy with incredible citrus and pine notes. The bitter hoppiness dominates, but then falls off a little toward the back end. The flavor is an immediate blast of hops and bitterness, but not as much as the aroma would lead on. The pine and citrus blow in about half way through and leave a soft, dry bitterness on the back end, which is just awesome. The mouth feel is a little thin, and the aftertaste is just great.
