3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pine and citrus aroma, pours a slightly hazy pale straw color with a white cap of head. Very hop forward, with just a hint of caramel before the pine and citrus come into play, which fades into a long bitter finish. Moderate body, with a slight slickness to the mouthfeel. This is a really solid IPA.

Bottle shares by Adam. Thanks man.
Hazy yellow body with soft white head. Aromas include lemons, hops, crackers. Bitter hops with lemony, tart citrus and a tangy finish. Pretty good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle...very citrus/grapefruit forward beer with a stinging bitterness that is outstanding. Some floral/pine to compliment the grapefruit as well. Finished with a dry, clean, and bitter bite that leaves you wanting more.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour from a 12oz bottle. Slightly cloudy amber brew with two fingers of dense large bubbled head. Aroma is resplendent with citrus - a huge grapefruit presence. Unser the surface something a little more dank and earthy. Taste is very hops forward with a citrus presence up front, a bit of malt emerging towards the middle of the swallow and then a resin / pine / citrus finish. A solid IPA.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle... Lightly-hazed amber pour with flashes of orange and a mid-sized white head. The aroma supplies tons of tropical and citrus fruits accompanied by a mild pine component. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is bitter as Hell. More bitter than a woman scorned. Thereís a trace of honey malt, but who cares? Itís just so bitter, bitter and bitter. Lengthy, violently bitter, astringent finish. Hey, itís a bottle of Shortís beer and itís not infected - so thatís something! Hophead? Not me, but if I was...

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Cloudy, bright, sunshine yellow with a foamy head that settles to a nice, soapy skin that leaves behind decent lacing. Hop bouquet aroma; spicy hops, cut grass, pines, unidentifiable herbage, & plentiful citrus (mostly grapefruit). It actually attains some tropical essence in the back-end, too, namely some mango & pineapple reminders. Damn bitter, more bitter than the aroma would indicate - this is a tongue scraper. Dry hop abrasion, palate slaughtering with sharp, herbal, ashy hops with even a hint of woodsiness, almost like a pine cone. Bitter, bitter grapefruit pith that makes your cheeks rise, only offset by the lightest notes of juicy tangerines & mangoes. Pale malts barely stand a chance, the hops dominate this brew, front to back. Shorts, killiní the hop game, this is definitely a keeper.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz Bottle. Thanks, Sean! Pine and spice nose, heavy on the characteristic Shortís yeast and slightly seedy hop bill. Flavors run similarly and thereís one thing Iíve always appreciated about Shortís is that when they brew a bitter beer, itís damn bitter. I donít find the hop flavors all that concentrated or singular in this example and it makes it kind of generic, but itís clean, itís bristly, and yes, itís bitter.
