From notes. First reviewed 1/31/2011. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color of the beer is walnut brown, with a ruby tint in the edges of the glass. A creamy head with an eggshell hue forms initially, eventually fading to a ring and leaving a little lacing on the glass. I am not really getting any dry hopped aroma. Roast malt, some molasses, and dark fruits - fig and raisin mostly, but a very modest aroma. Molasses, plums and figs introduce the flavor up front, followed by some roasted malt and soft nutty flavors. There is a light citrus and spice kick at the end, but there is just not much hop presence here. Good Humans is lightly sticky but mostly clean. Medium carbonation and a medium body. I was expecting a dry-hopped brown ale, and I got mild dark fruit and much hop presence. Maybe this was just a bad bottle based on the other reviews, but there was almost no hop presence.

Bottle, courtesy of zer0, @ Dean sticky floor tasting 2. Pours a murky, reddish brown beer with a small of white head. Aroma is gravy, sour vagina and dishwater. Flavour is quite boring and bland with a slight caramel touch. Not so good, nope.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; mahogany red pour with small tan head that doesn’t last, mostly pine aroma, bitter taste with quite big alcohol presence, piney hop taste with a slight citrus edge. Cola like mouthfeel and fizz.

Bottle @ Sticky floor tasting II. Opaque muddy brownish color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, hops, lightly sweetish hoppyness with a nice bitter finish. Clearly a brown ale with a lot of hops. A bit weird but not bad.

Bottle at home. Clear red-brown with a light brown head, fine lacings. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, chocolate, coffee) and hoppy. Flavor quite sweet, coffee, first light bitter, then medium bitter. Medium+ body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared @ Dean’s Sticky Floor Tasting II. Pours hazy chestnut with a thin white head. The aroma is light, and I find it hard to describe - there’s a sweetness and a grassiness. Taste matches the aroma

Bottle. Brown with a small head. Hops dominate with a lingering hoppiness. A lovely dark ale with an unexpected presence of hops. A definite must try.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear, dark brown with a small off-white head. Smells perfumey. Sweet and dry with lots of aromas of caramel malts and some C-hop. Also some aromas of lightly roasted malts. Tiny hints of black pepper. Warm alco sensation. Medium to full bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Bitter finish with more caramel malts.
