Illustrious tropical bubblegum & mid-level citrus. Looks how I want it to - balanced and turbid on just the right glow of gold. Tastes a lot like you would imagine fresh grapefruit rind to taste. Pretty aggressive on the sides of the mouth going into the palate. All the yummy sort of excitement that comes with a new type of hop forward beer notch. Amber citrus success.

GRAPEFRUIT!!! Hops-to-fruity flavor on steroids. Grapefruit for folks on statins. I haven't tasted grapefruit in years due to a minor cholesterol issue - and it tastes like the fresh stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Way to grapefruity. The aftertaste is pure grapefruit. Cloudy yellow. Little head. Fruit beer made with grapefruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours thick and hazy golden orange with a big creamy white head. The aroma bring thick citrus hops as expected from the description with no bite. Flavors of citrus hops dominate, again there is no hoppy bite though which makes it quite smooth, just right for a single IPA. Carbonation is not overbearing, right on with a decently juicy body. The grapefruit doesn’t cut you on the flavor, which I thought would be the case from concentrate, but instead enhances the delicious notes of the citrus hops.

Pours a hazy light golden color with what appear to be some pink highlights. A vigorous swirl produces a substantial, rocky bright white head that sticks around and leaves tiny splotches of lacing. Very grapefruit forward on the nose, with all that dry citrus rind and pith. Some piney and almost cedary notes along with some floral notes and dank earthy hops. Fairly sweet, quite bitter, and a touch tart. Lighter bodied, fairly active carb, a touch oily, with an extraordinarily drying, thirst-inducing bitter finish. Really cool brew, everything works well together. Extremely drinkable. Would be well suited to warm weather.

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy orange with a small white head and great lacing. Grapefruit, orange peel, light weed, biscuit, citrus, bread, and grass in the aroma. Taste is big citrusy fruits - grapefruit, light pineapple, lemon peel - grass, straw, just huge citric acid, light mango - though not sweet - a touch of bread, but a damn clean body and huge bitterness on the finish. Medium body with low carbonation. Pretty good but needs a little more carbonation.

Bottle thanks to BeerandBlues2. Pours hazy orange with thin, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is citrus, dank, and grassy hops, biscuit malt, lemon, light spice, and some toast. Flavor is citrus and grassy hops forward with supporting bready malts, light fruit esters, herbs, and light sweetness; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Bottle dated 3/11/13 super fresh through trade! Pour has a golden color and a ring of white head on the glass. Aroma has sweet citrus, grapefruit, perfume, and light malts. Mouth feel is medium light and the carbonation average. Flavor pops in some bitterness, floral hops, citrus, grapefruit, resins, and a lingering finish. Very drinkable.
