4oz on tap at HopCat East Lansing during the Shorts tap takeover. Clear orange golden color. Thin off-white head. Nice dots and short ropes of lace. Some orange citrus, grapefruit character. Light spice. Light bitter. Light tart taste. Smooth, softer carbonation, bigger body. Dry finish. Really solid, tropical fruity lager. Lightly citrusy. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at HopCat in East Lansing. The pour is a nice gold, with minimal head. The aroma is mildly hoppy, and lacking otherwise. The taste is the same. There is a decent flavor behind the hops, but it’s not extraordinary. The mouth feel lingers a bit, and it holds some of the qualities you like to see in a decent mouth feel

On tap at the brewpub in Bellaire, Michigan. Obviously, I will make it a priority to try a beer that references two of my favorite poets. Golden pour with slight haziness. White head. Aroma of crackers, pale malt, mild leafy hops. Flavor is crisp, light hay, leafy and grassy hop presence. Flavor is crisp: strong, dry malt notes with nice hop finish. Flavor is nice. The crisp finish is nice too. Medium bodied, nice to drink. Good summer beer.
