4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at the hopcat in the summer of 09 thanks to the generous bartender. Red orange in color with a thin head that laces. Sweet rich juicy sour fruits of raspberry, cherry and blueberry in the aroma. Medium creamy body that’s thick for a fruit beer. Juicy frut flavors similar to the aroma but really juicy. Good stuff.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from kihoskh. #773 of 1008 produced. bottled 2007.
As adviced on the beer information pamphlet, the beer was sampled while listening to The Doors, The soft Parade.
Slightly cloudy red-amber, smooth beige head.
Aroma is sweet fruity - red fruits like strawberries, raspberries etc. alcohol, jam, wine gums. seems a bit "tired".
flavor is malty, bitter malty, red fruity sweetness, jam, frut peel bitterness, Alc. only noticeable as a sort of bitterness, I would prefer red wine, which the taste resembles slighthly. The bitterness and fruitiness resembles a little bit a belgian fruit lambic, but then - the sour part of fruit lambic is not here at all, leaving only a bittersweet ripe fruity flavor with alc. notes.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Blood red color with a small collar of light foam. Aroma has plenty of sweet fruits, candy, caramel, blackberry, strawberry and some spices. Taste is very sweet, also with plentiful berries and other sweet stuff. Fine balance.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2nd June 2009
The bottle (386 of 1005) says this was also made with raspberries. Cloudy brown beer. Crisp and dry palate. The four fruits are perfectly balanced - nothing dominates, just a nice generic fruits of the forest flavour, but completey unsweet. After the fruit there is a sourish rye malt finish but no rye spice. Unusual but would have preferred the fruit to be sweeteded a little.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 75 cl. Pours red with a small head. Aroma has loads and loads of berries, strawberries, raspberries, nice caramel, really nice berry quality. Taste has lots of berries, currants, strawberries, not much trace of neither malts not hops, just plain berry niceness. One of the best Shorts offerings we had this evening.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes. Thanks to mcallister for this extra.
Pours a beautiful pink ruby with a nice lightly-tinted head that has a bit of a reddish character. Nose is soft fruits with quite a few different berries; the strawberry really came through to me with the blueberry coming through to a lesser extent. Nice blueberry and strawberry flavor throughout. In the end, the feel was pretty decent and it drank well enough, but the unique concept only lasted for a bit before this started to taste less interesting and wasn’t much to keep me drinking.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours reddish and hazy. Aroma of fruits that is quite a mess. Wine like and not like beer. I’m not really impressed and it is not loaded with any malt like flavor. lightly boozy and a slick mouthfeel. not great.
