(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy reddish with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish cherry-like aroma. Medium body with distinct raspberry notes. Dry and somewhat astringent bitter finish. Kinda funny that I pick up cherries and raspberries while it’s actually three other berries it’s made from. 311008

Bottle @ HotD Dock Sale, not sure who brought this. Pours reddish orange with a tan head. Nose is sweet, but i couldn’t place it, which matches the sweetness in the taste, hidden alc.

Clear red look with a small white head. Aroma isnt as fruity as expected. Blackberries and butter along with grassy hops. FLavor is mainly bitter berries with some sweet mainly rasberry notes, a little acidity and a bitter grassy hop finish.

Aroma of yeast, fruit (all kinds) it’s very sweet. Muddy red beer. The flavor is full of fruit, but mainly raspberries.

Bottle. High and long lasting creamy off-white head. Hazy red body. Lovely berries aroma that has some acidity to it so it does not smell too sweet. Flavor is bitter sweet and the berries more difficult to distinguish than in the aroma. Low carbonation and a long relatively bitter aftertaste. Alcohol just noticeable.

Shorts tasting with The Club +a few. Pours a very hazy amber. Sweet and quite bitter with a berrylike sourness. Smells of fruits of the forest. Strong berry aromas especieally blackberries. Too much jam.

Bottle at home. Cloudy reddish - white head. caramelm berries, strawberries, black berries, fruity, malty sweetness, high sweetness, light nutty. Ok - Nice but onedimentional.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 Bright red pour, and a frothy white. Mostly a blackberry and blueberry aroma, with some papery acerbic character and a whiff of leafiness, and a dry rye woodiness. Minerals on the fruits, and some grass. Its somewhat raw earthiness is good and endearing.
Dry and soft on fruit flavor. Generally, the heavy vinous sweetness of the dark sweetness blends with the subtle rocky and basic tannin bitterness to make for a bland, merlot-like impression. Still, the textures imparted by the yeasts, and possibly the seedy qualities of the fruits, are kindly dry and detailed in earthiness and darkness, enough to make this a very pleasant experience. Main flavors are blueberries, and strawberries, and a grassy, honey-like sweetness that’s quite heavily influenced by earth and still, minerals.
Medium, calm texture; soft carbonation, and a reserved alcohol presence that only shows in a soft basic flavor in the finish; never any heat, but the tannins and the alcohol make for a somewhat boring, basic dry red wine ending; certainly a pleasant sensation, but just a bit simple.
