Bottle, courtesy of Enjoyit. Hazy orange, small white head. Aroma has tons of ginger, banana, rosemary, perfume, lavender, dishwasher-soap, some spruce maybe. Taste is very chemical with pine, more soap and more chemicals.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is like a bad perfume: lavender, rosemary, soap, ginger, spice, pepper and some hops. When I tasted this I thought it would be bad for my health to drink it. Like there were chemicals in there which should not be there. Funny to try :) .

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Huge, huge thanks to jale for giving me this bottle just because. Thanks again!
Pours a slightly-hazed golden-orange color with a good white head with mild retention time and a slight collar on the way down. The nose is incredible with ginormous amounts of heavy spruce and pine. Really quite awesome. The taste follows down the same path. Not sure how else to describe this other than to say that the spruce character is nearly overwhelming and I absolutely love it. Bitter and resinous, the mouthfeel is killer. I could drink this until my mouth completely dried out. Delicious.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle, # 213 of 886, from trade with General Gao. Good aroma, sweet & spice. Spruce, go figure, alot like a well made ginger beer. Clean orangy bronze, ok head, minor lace. Bitter flavor. Lite body, creamy thick mouthfeel, dry finish. Wow, this one held up well. I was thinking it would be ruined, but it held up well, Aroma was big, enjoyable, could get some oxidation in taste, but I guess it was masked by the spruce. really enjoyable. brewed 4/30/07, bottled 5/29 - 30/07

Hazy orange gold pour with a bit of foamy head. Aroma is loads of pine with spicy hops and sweet malt. Flavor is bitter and spicy, lots of resin coming through, and some malt sweetness. Interesting brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 zo bottle courtesy of hopburp. Thanks Mario. Pours a slightly hazy brass color with a small white head that slowly recedes to a fine film. The aroma is distinct with pine, chlorophyll and perfume. The flavor is similar to the nose, loads of green chlorophyll, fresh pine and biter pine resin. The palate is smooth and full with lively carbonation. The finish is long and dry with lingering pine. Overall: Lots of big bold experimental flavors, I dig it.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle pours burnt orange-gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet with burnt caramel and freshly shaved pine planks. Honestly, the intensity of the pine component is somewhat impressive. Overall body is moderate and sticky, starts lightly sweet, and finishes with a dry moderate/heavy pine bitterness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Lightly hazy orangish pour. Aroma is all christmas trees, rosemary and honey. Flavor starts bitter, hits with a big dose of resin and rosemary then gives way to a lightly honeyed malty sweetness. Nice. Totally unique brew.
