12 oz bottle - really confused about this one . Pours a clear orange thin bright white head . Aromas of cranberries and big spruce . Exactly as advertised , tastes like bitter juniper / cranberry / and spruce . The beer drinker in me does not like it , but the inner gin drinker is kind of into it . Interesting .

Bottle from mikem409, thanks Mike! Lighter orange pour. Wow - completely strange/interesting aroma. Heavy fruit/berry, tropical fruit mix. Taste went to sweet berries, strange sprucy tangy flavor. Some alcohol. Some gin, Iíd wager. Interesting. 13.8

Whew if ever a beer smelled good. Cranberries mix perfectly with the spruce notes.
Looks fine. Lighter Amber. Tons of lacing.
Taste is fascinating. Pine notes are huge and the cranberrys also come through to compliment. Spruce overwhelms on the finish.
Palate is intense for sure. Light medium body. Finish is tough due to spruce.
A really interesting beer that I certainly could not drink more than one of. Not dissapointed in having this one: a solid beer. Just more intense than what could be handled on a regular basis.

Aroma almost has a spruce quality with a touch of vanilla. Lots of lace, clear amber appearance. Tastes mildly bitter, of hops and gin like bitterness on the end. Palate is nice and fizzy. Overall, mild yet flavorful, very enjoyable.

Tap. Clear gold. Some nicer lacing. Slightly spicy nose. Smooth. Mellow hopping with some twangs of cranberry, juniper. Refreshing, actually.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 This one is a weird one. It does look nice in a tulip. Copper, with the carbonation bubbles sparking to the top. Thin white lacing. The smell is unpleasant for a beer. Reminds me of Capín Crunch. A lot of IPAs have a pine resin taste, but I imagine this is what it is like to drink a pine tree. Berry taste to it - assuming it is juniper, but I have never had juniper berries before. There is a malt to it, which once again reminds me of soggy Capín Crunch (probably due to the smell triggering it). So...donít care for the smell, the taste is pretty good, but at the end the stickiness in my mouth brings me back to soggy Capín Crunch.
I could drink this again easily enough...but I donít think I would be seeking it out.

I dont know what to say about this beer.... It is so far from the beaten path that I dont even know where it is... Its sort of like licking a pine tree after eating a thanksgiving dinner... props go to shorts for making something this weird...

Pours a clear golden with not much eggshell head, leaving some fine spotty lace behind. Nose involves big spruce, some underlying tart berry notes, and some dank herbal hops. Somewhat sweet, lightly tart, pretty bitter. Light to medium bodied, quite oily and slick, actively carbed, with a long spruce-tinged bitter finish. I liked this one a lot, but you definitely have to be able to handle all that piney, sprucy stuff. The berries round it out nicely, and I would take this type of holiday beer over those filled with nutmeg.

Mellow golden pour, very bubbly and clear with a half inch bright white head. Smells an awful lot like capín crunch with crunch berries: lager yeast, sweet sugary cereal grains, artificial berries, maybe cranberry. Average carbonation, quite viscous mouthfeel, clean finish. Very nice flavor of piney hops expertly mixed with almost creamy spruce, cranberry accentuates as well, definite juniper flavor, very juicy citrus/guava on finish. Great holiday rendition.
