COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An experimental IPA made with blue spruce tips, juniper berries, and cranberries. Piney evergreen and sweet berries tingle the senses. After some slightly tart and tangy flavors up front, a harmonious balance between pleasant fruit sweetness and bitter pine is reached. A sizable malt bill, ample hop additions, and the floral fruity qualities of American Ale yeast all contribute to symmetry of this beer. The finish is laced with a resiny stickiness that flows naturally into a lasting bitterness. 7.5% ABV

12 oz bottle - really confused about this one . Pours a clear orange thin bright white head . Aromas of cranberries and big spruce . Exactly as advertised , tastes like bitter juniper / cranberry / and spruce . The beer drinker in me does not like it , but the inner gin drinker is kind of into it . Interesting .

Tastes like a Christmas tree and some cranberry.... Not in a good way. Aroma of more fruity notes, some grassiness, earthy spruce notes. Flavor is tons of spruce and a bit more... It’s a lot. I hope you like Christmas trees.

On tap at ashleys. The blueberries really come through. Bitter but not too hoppy. Ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle light orangey color with thin white head. Aroma is quite interesting as it hits you with sweet berry and spruce. Taste is hint of tart fruit and then the hop hits you through the balanced finish.

Bottle from trade. Thanks, umich03jm! Pours orange gold with a white head. Aroma is orange, pine, floral. Flavor is bread, caramel, orange, pine. Pine dominates both the flavor and aroma. There’s a touch of cranberry bitter towards the finish. Tasty and unique.

Fresh bottle from Champane’s. Despite possible imperfections, this beer is a masterpiece of art. I wanted the hops, the spruce. I did not want cranberries, juniper. The entire experience is a bitter, a blend of hop bitter and traditional. Must be seek out. From orange hoppy initiation through dry herbal finish.

Sweet with strong rosemary, lemon, and Berry flavors. Tastes like soap or a candle.

Bottle from mikem409, thanks Mike! Lighter orange pour. Wow - completely strange/interesting aroma. Heavy fruit/berry, tropical fruit mix. Taste went to sweet berries, strange sprucy tangy flavor. Some alcohol. Some gin, I’d wager. Interesting. 13.8

Whew if ever a beer smelled good. Cranberries mix perfectly with the spruce notes. Looks fine. Lighter Amber. Tons of lacing. Taste is fascinating. Pine notes are huge and the cranberrys also come through to compliment. Spruce overwhelms on the finish. Palate is intense for sure. Light medium body. Finish is tough due to spruce. A really interesting beer that I certainly could not drink more than one of. Not dissapointed in having this one: a solid beer. Just more intense than what could be handled on a regular basis.

Aroma almost has a spruce quality with a touch of vanilla. Lots of lace, clear amber appearance. Tastes mildly bitter, of hops and gin like bitterness on the end. Palate is nice and fizzy. Overall, mild yet flavorful, very enjoyable.

Tap. Clear gold. Some nicer lacing. Slightly spicy nose. Smooth. Mellow hopping with some twangs of cranberry, juniper. Refreshing, actually.
