COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MMMKay is an India Pale Lager, originally brewed from the second runnings of Aww Jeah. Now, built of its own accord, the nose is a dynamic explosion of hop aromas! The initial fragrances are of bold citrus fruit: guava, orange, and lemon. As the head settles, the aromas shift to fresh evergreen accents. Indicated by the light body and pale yellow appearance, malt was an afterthought, and the focus here would be hops. An array of enjoyable American hop flavors shock the palate ranging from slightly fruity to intense earthy pine. A bold bitterness dominates the finish enhanced by the clean unobtrusive nature of its lager origin.

Julie says bleck. Not a fan and is still on my tongues. Icky. Too much hop. Nothing else. Hop water. Gives 0.2. Andy says tastes like feet ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Pours a yellowish amber with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus with some pine. Slight floral also. Lighter bodies. Flavor is clean and smooth and slightly grassy along with the aromas. Very nice, very drinkable beer.

Pours a cloudy, medium golden color with a rocky, sudsy, antique white head. The appearance by itself moves it out of a lager category. Raw hop pellet nose. Truly remarkable. Nearly magical. Medium body and slightly powdery. Remarkably hoppy. Extraordinarily so for a lager. Yet, refreshing. Lingering bitterness. Seems the hop vegetable matter is snagged in the tongue’s papillae. Awesome beer.

Pale golden color with a huge single finger head. Smells very hoppy. Huge floral notes. Lots of delicious citrus and floral notes in the taste. Really light and easy drinking. Lace present with a medium mouth. Excellent lager.

Bottle, thanks to Clownisseur! Pours hazy butterscotch, small off white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is dank, passionfruit, mango, spruce, cat piss, wet leaves. Flavor is lightly sweet, medium bitter, dank and tropical, sweaty. Medium body, a bit oily, lingering bitter finish. Nice effort.

Draft to pint. Looks good for the style; a lightly hazy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; nice and hoppy with notes of pine and citrus and a mildly bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a nice medium-bodied mouthfeel. A good IPL.

Lemon gold with a tall, off-white head. Big, big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit peel.....pilsner-like malt bitter. Really amazing... Strong bitter, sharp hops... Wow...really great.

On draft at the GTMW 2014 pre party festivities. Pours a straw golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of pine, earth, and citrus peel hop notes. Flavor is crisp, bitter, hop forward, and smooth. Lots of citrus peel and fruit notes. Mild malt sweetness. Light bodied, lively palate. Finishes bitter. A pretty great hoppy lager.

This is my favorite "lager" that I have had the pleasure of tasting! It certainly defies traditional characteristics of the style, but that is why I love it so much! (not a big lager fan, in general). This beer pours a very nice golden-straw color with a slightly foamy 2-finger white head. Aromas are intense! Lots of tropical and citrus fruit aromas. Sharp orange, grapefruit and lemon burst out with subtle sweetness and herbal accents following behind. The light body on this does not let the malts/lagered yeast have much say in the flavor...much to my liking. Loaded with a bouquet of hops, the flavor is balanced with the same bright citrus as the nose. Some floral notes couple with pine, resin and cannabis to culminate in a nice herbal-garden harmony. Finishes with a medium bitterness and crispness that leaves my mouth watering. Could drink this beer every day.

On tap...hard to image that lagers could be this good after years of drinking the industrial swill made in the US. Lots of hoppy complexity that showcases the many flavors of the vining cones. Finishes clean and crisp...awesome.
