Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is a Double Belgian IPA brewed exclusively with Galaxy hops. The nose is an impressive blend of citrus aromas reminiscent of guava and lemons. It also has subtle Belgian yeast esters. An intense, clean bitterness dominates the flavor profile, with little malt character to compete with. A fruity yeast sweetness is noticeable in the finish, alongside a resounding bitterness.

The aroma is excellent. The appearance is as well. This is my favorite beer I’ve ever tasted. It hits the palate perfectly. I give it a 100.

Delicious and interesting. Pours a copper color with thin white head. Really good Double IPA with a belgian twist. Galaxy hops add a different flavor than a more common hop variety. Strong but easily enjoyed. Amazing fruity smell and taste. It really does remind me of passion fruit. Tasted on tap, 10/30/2011. So good I bought a growler to go!

Nose of sweet citric and mild acidity. Quick foam reflex, but a smooth gentle pourer. Deep gold in color with white head. Thin but present lacing. Sweet flesh fruit and citrus flavors carry on wet hop and malt bodies. Lingering but wet finish. Pleasantly flat, sweet and mildly bitter. Very easy for the ABV.

The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster pours a light orange with a bubbly beige head that lasts a good while and leaves excellent lacing. The aroma is so overwhelmed with citrus, tangerine and floral hops that I cannot detect anything else. I would also like to point out that it is glorious. The flavor is also dominated by loads of hops. Overall this beer is amazing. If you are a fan of bitter hops then this is for you.

Seriously on of my top dipas. So damn good. Pours a clear orange with thin white head. Huge citrus aroma and pine cones. Taste is tangerine peel, citrus fruits, light pine. Nice mouth feel, low carbonation, medium body. Citrus bitterness and dry finish. Just a great beer.

Pours copper in color with a thin head. The combination of zest and hop make it one the most unique beers I have every had. The fruity zest reminded me of grapefruit combined with the blast of hops just finished off the greatness of this beer.

Pours a hazy orange with a fair khaki head that settles to a thin ring and leaves intricate, spotty, soapy lace. Nose is awesome and involves a fuzzy, dusty, spicy yeastiness, sugary stone fruit, tropical notes of pineapple, and cake donuts. Pretty sweet, somewhat tart, quite bitter. Full bodied, oily, bright, fair action, crisp, drying and puckering with bitterness, with a long doughy yeasty finish. A good example of when a Belgian DIPA goes right. Wish I had a whole 6pack, that’s how much I liked it.
